Good review, I enjoyed your researchs and theories haha
I liked the robot too. The shaking effect was a bit obvious, you could get nella to hide and shake it for you. I can shake it for you, also.
Love you honey

12.09.2010 - 01:50 | SLICKNICKi am legend was not about zombies as you say. it was clearly about vampires.
1.they were attracted by blood
11/2. they feasted on that blood.
2.couldnt be in the sun without burning(although dracula could)
3.higher levle of intgeligence.(set traps)
4.hunted alone or in a pack(zombies just roam)
5.super human abilities of strength, jumpingm speed(zombies are slow dumb mindless and only strong in massie hoards).

In my opinion, one of your best yet. It's intelligent, engaging, funny, and a clever discourse on themes that are as old as cinema itself. I loved it, it's cute and totally nerdy. I'd love to hear your take on the way pregnancy is handled in modern film, especially 'chick-flicks' (oh, how I hate that term).

Though truth be told, Goldblum's Ian Malcolm really doesn't get across what Crichton's Ian Malcolm did -- that hard science a) may have reached its hard limits as to its use and b) has no sense of how to use the power it has attained, because it has no discipline:
That's your simple idea.Simple. You create new life forms, about which you know nothing at all. Your Dr. Wu does not even know the names of the things he is creating. He cannot be bothered with such details as what the thing is called, let alone what it is. You create many of them in a very short time, you never know anything about them, yet you expect them to do your bidding, because you made them and therefore think that you own them ...
The book is about "The arrogance of science will be its own downfall". (They never even considered that they'd ever have to reboot the entire computer -- can you imagine not knowing how to three-finger-salute when needed? -- so they lost power long enough to lose control of the entire island for good.) The movie is "Ooh, look at the dinosaurs". -_- Just like the point of BSG 2.0 is "All this has happened before, and will happen again", due to the cycle of not realizing what we've created and reacting badly, and too late, but people thought it was "Ooh, ships blowing ships up in space". :sigh:

Never, though, put your dick in raw meat, I learned that on the chans.
Anyway, if this were to focus more on the war between science is cool and science is to be feared and respected while we advance steadily... who wins?
I vote for the science is cool guys.

Same here Yosswell. In fact, most of, if not all, the music for this video was well chosen and good music to boot. I especially liked to hear that little bit of the WALL-E soundtrack in there. Gosh, I love that movie. =D
I wasn't really expecting a video of this nature to come from you Lindsay, but nice job nonetheless. You had some nice insights, rules, and references at play throughout the entire video and it really all came together for me. Keep up the great work. =)

Queen "Don't stop me now"
You more then likely know it from "Shaun of the Dead".

Sunny's having or not having a soul wasn't emotion based, but on the fact that he was given the free will denied the other robots who had morality forced upon them by programming. His morality was taught to him by his "father." So, the fact that he could make a choice between right and wrong, and choose the right path, made him like a human.

A couple of things...
1. Love the music in this, especially the Wall-E and Queen songs!
2. Am I the only one that thinks this would have been a great opportunity for Dr. Insano so make a random cameo? XD
3. I agree completely with this list, especially about "Putting your dick in it". This is so, so true and it has always bothered me. I mean, the guy KNOWS that the creation is evil and must be stopped, yet is weak enough to the creation's obvious temptations.
