5 Stars, Sage!
Aside from shying a bit away from showing us the Sackboy customizable wardrobe and expressions (your Sackdude was nekkid and neutral the whole time!), it was pitch perfect!

Awesome. If I could buy PS3, this is the one I would buy with the console.

It looks a little like Nightmare Before Christmas. I imagine the appeal is somewhat similar.

Can't wait to play this game. My friend is making levels for us to play right now. Another great review Sage.

When I saw the ads, I thought this game was a simulation, like Spore, except you can control a character and move around levels in the world you create.
Thanks for clearing that up.

I don't have a PS3 myself, so I'll be missing out on this one. You've made it sound fun, though. I'm glad your reviews are more about having fun playing a game, and not about what you're playing it on. I've liked games of this flavor in the past. Like, Parappa the Rapper, Loco Roco, Katamari Damacy, etc. So I'm sure I can shell out some funds to rent a PS3 and give it a try.

It was that "exciting" and "entertaining" for me.I'm really glad I traded it for MGS4.

Really? well I love MGS4 but I would definetly trade my copy of it for LBP without thinking but that is a matter of personal oppinion nonetheless.

I agree with the fact that games are trully masterfull if it is verry hard/imposibble to say why they are masterfull.
Such is the fate of one of the last really big bastions of PC gaming:WoW.

How come he didn't mention the best part of the game? Offline co-op! It's awesome

You got that right man it's as fun or maybe even more as Playing Smash Brothers with you're friends this game is trully a masterpiece and a demonstration that Video Games can be art.

The game is rubbish.
I don't have internet conection for my consols(Bar the PC) and i don't want to have to buy a conection then pay the god knows how much just so I can play a game.
I Buy a game and then I play it. Games like WOW, City of Heroes and Little Big Planet force me to spend countless amounts of time or money to play them. However Steven Fry is awsume as always.

Man Playstation Network is free to use you do not have to pay to use it and LittleBigPlanet does not charges a fee for Online usage although it does have a lot of downloadable content that you have to pay for but that content is entirely optional.

I think what you are trying to say is that LittleBigPlanet is one of those games that demonstrate that Video Games are a form of art unlike that craptastic Postal games that make almost impossible to belive that video games are a form of art... but nonetheles LittleBigPlanet is a Masterpiece and regardless of what kind of gamer you are if you have a PS3 or get any chance of playing it you should give it a try I'll guarantee you will not be dissapointed due to the level creator the variety in this game is unlimited and there is something for everybdy (except if you are looking for gore in a game of course)

12.08.2009 - 15:58 | ChrisHighwind - Fun Fact
Exactly one year after this review, Sony came out with a PSP version of LittleBigPlanet. It may not be as in depth as the PS3 version, and yes the PSP version is lacking in multiplayer, but it's great for those of us without a PS3, but with a PSP, to get our helping of what LittleBigPlanet has to offer.
