I agree with Cferra, I kind of like the video format on this plus you present it clearly and streamlined. I kind of wondered what was happening with the night life stuff, it's such a solid and original idea and the community is already built for it.
Points made, points accepted. Keep up the great work, guys.

I agree with Cferra. You should definitely do more video blog updates. I think it'll catch people's attention more than text would. Especially for people who don't want to bother to read.
In case you're reading this post, I have a suggestion for some talent you guys could probably pick up. There are three guys here who do a weekly podcast called the wrestle-cast. They talk about anything wrestling related and they are gaining a steadily increasing number of wrestling fans every week. They're pretty entertaining and I think the admins to this site should check out their work to see if they're talent worthy for this site.
As far as talent, have you ever seen Sadie's Gaming Infection on Youtube? She can be a potential video game reviewer.
Umm. Dude, Sadie stopped doing videos in May.

(I also remember her getting pissed off at SA for not picking up her show, and proceeding to badmouth Little Miss Gamer. Just sayin' is all.)

i want to ask something:
will videos still going to be posted here when, for example, the blistered thumbs channel opens?
in this example i mean blistered thumbs's videos
because, right now it's really awesome and comfortable to be able to come here, and watch all the new stuff, it's really well organized(i'm talking just about videos, i think the blog part it's kinda disorganized) and easy.
i am afraid of what will happen after all the channels start to open...
i start thinking "oh shit i'm gonna miss out on all the good stuff!"

I think they're making different channel sites like Blistered Thumbs so it won't be like that, all on one site.
My guess is that it's really crowded with new videos here and for those who aren't tgwtg junkies they might miss Doug's new video which can get buried quickly, which means less revenue for him. Not just him, but all of the content producers don't have a long enough period to get the optimum amount of clicks and thus revenue.
So worst comes to worst you'll have to check a few sites as opposed to one.
But, this is purely speculation.

Your entrepreneurship is incredibly interesting, the business and artistic opportunities a new medium like the internet have created are fascinating.
I'm starting to create videos, and I can only hope to work with you one day.
Irregardless, I wish you and Channel Awesome the best of luck.
Keep up the great work.

Good to hear from you Mike, it's always nice to hear that you guys are doing more than just holding Doug hostage so he can produce Nostalgia Critic videos for you (not that that's a bad thing, it's just nice to get a confirmation that we can indeed expect a lot more from you). All in all though, thanks for the update and don't keep us waiting!

@goldman:
Spoony, Linkara, Angry Joe etc. all have their own site and have their videos still posted here, so I won't worry about that too much.
Also, the videos are hosted on blip, so the people will get some money if their videos are watched. It's in their interest, that there are as many places as possible, for other people to watch the videos.
@Site Update:
I'm a little concerned about the premium area. Are there too many people so that there is trouble for the servers? Are there too few so that you expect more interest if you make it rare?
I mean, it's one source of "income" for the site... i'm curious about why you would cut that source off.

I would think he has a good amount of (leeway?) when deciding on talent. I mean he is the main guy of the site(his picture is with the site logo after all), but it more than likely falls to a majority vote between him, both mike michaud, mike ellis, bhargo, and maybe even rob. They are the founders of the site after all. This is all speculation and opinion on my part so don't hold me to this or anything stupid like that.

I wondered what the bar site was all about. Blistered thumbs sounds fantastic. Now its just the Comic/Anime site, assuming that is still going ahead.
PS Until we Win needs picking up mike, it is the best thing I've seen on the blogs. How are you supposed to tell people the blogs get you picked up if a series with many Awesome blogs and best of blogs under the belt doesn't get picked up?

I know how important the blogs and forums are. Anything that caused Linkara to get noticed must be a great thing. I was just saying Jason was getting alot of attention and if he wasn't picked up then some others may get the wrong idea about the blogs. Sorry if it sounded like I was critisizing you, It was unintentional if it did.
But its great to hear Jason will be signed.

10.04.2009 - 01:00 | SomewhatIt's nice to be kept up to speed! Hope all these changes go over as smoothly as they can. I'll be watching. (And imagining a book of 500 MS Paint bookcases... :0 )

Thank you for the information. I want to put a new show together about Anime, but I don't want to get in the way of Suede and take his site anime spot. Is it possible to have two people for that, or should I just let Suede have it when he comes back. And thank you for telling me where to send videos so I don't send them to Doug by accident. And people don't be a douchebag and bug the crap outta them they have things to do

I'm looking forward to the certificate! I know that'll go to good use. Looking forward to the future and I guess as of now the blogs are back, right?
Looks like it. Thanks as always for an awesome update, my friend. Take care!
