"Well that's as scary as it gets."
Best line. Awesome job! That looked like a hard intro to make up lyrics for but you did it somehow.

but i did see the two movies, demon knight and bordello of blood. maybe doug should do those movies! there's hot naked vampires in bordello of blood....
great lyrics though! love the lyric videos!

That was utterly terrifying. Did Reboot have lyrics in it's opening? You should look into that show, Doug. I mean if you want... No pressure. Anyway Hexadecimal was WAY creepier than the Crypt Keeper.

You know, those were ACTUALLY some good lyrics. Like, they sounded like something that the show might have really used.
-
06.15.2009 - 21:20 | Lodeman AKA LARUCUS - amazing!!!
god, i loved this show... and yeah that was as scary as it got, sadly, but those were some great ingenious lyrics too
you should do lyrics to futurama

Damn the green goo at the end reminds me of a show that came after Tales from the Crypt: Goosebumps. Yes the original series and the animated series of Tales from the Crypt weren't that scary or graphical but I wonder if he ever saw Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight. HAHAHAHAHA

That voice Doug was doing sounded an awful lot like Kif Kroker from Futurama.
Yes, I know damned well it's NOT what he was going for.

Good job at pointing out that the only scary thing about the show was the puns.

Great lyrics...but I still can't get over how this show used the Beetlejuice theme for its theme. Then again, considering that Beetlejuice was a spooky comedy, as was Tales from the Crypt, it's appropriate.
Tales from the Crypt. Good comics, Good theme music, but a lousy TV show.

the new comments layout is beautiful!
thank you, whoever thought of changing the color of it. more relaxing, it looks.

06.16.2009 - 00:58 | NoahClue22 - Darn brilliant!
When I saw the new lyrics video was going to be for "Tales from the Crypt", I thought it'd be impossible to do. The other songs you've lyriced had running melodies that were easier to set words to, but this show has a lot of breaks that you just can't sing to.
But, yet again, Doug's genius shines through. It was a brilliant idea to intercept the melodies with the narrator who keeps pointing out the show's shortcomings. I love it when a show is ripped apart like this, espeially in music.
I'm sure Danny Elfman is so proud of you right now. Wonder if the Beatlejuice (sp) theme is next?

Surprisingly, Dougs lyrics actually suit this intro quite well.
