03.13.2009 - 15:35 | NewtypeS3More than half, honestly. I think the only regulars from seasons 3-7 that didn't make it onto the show were Patrick Stewart and Wil Wheaton, really.
It's hilarious - four of the cast were regulars and the rest (save those two) were regular guest-stars.

after X-men and Batman I ran through a list of shows that had lyric-less songs ... Gargoyles was top of that list.
awesome job. Picard was the only bridge crew member not to voice a character. they also got Janeway from Voyager too...

04.06.2009 - 04:11 | adrasl300"Gargoyles live to serve and protect with help from the cast of Star Trek"?
Or how about "Disneys way of showing they dont need to be soo prissy gay"?

03.12.2009 - 22:30 | LineageThese just keep getting better. You manage to be both epic and funny at the same time, and now I have to go and rewatch the entire damn show.
Well, there went the next three days.

03.12.2009 - 22:47 | Lurch18awesome stuff, perhaps a complete new series?
eminds me a lot of brentalflosse's "what if had lyrics?" series.

While there were some Star Trek people there...there are only two people I can think of that are on both.....Johnathon Frakes (Xanatos, and Commander Riker), and Marina Sirtis (Demona, and Deanna Troi)
Would anyone else like to fill me in on any other star trek people that were in both of these shows?

Michael Dorn (Worf) played Coldstone, Brent Spiner (Data) played Puck, Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway) played Titania and Nichelle Nichols (Uhura) played Elisa's mum. They were all in multiple episodes. Avery Brooks (Sisko), Colm Meaney (Chief O'Brien) and LeVar Burton (Geordi) also voiced one-off characters.

03.12.2009 - 23:42 | The Magical ScreeePretty good. I didn't know about the Star Trek part...ya learn somethin new each day =p
Here are some of my ideas you can do for other themes:
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Goosebumps
Beetlejuice
(wow, I didn't mean for all of them to be "scary" shows)

The only thing that sucks is Disney's own hatred for the franchise.
First, they cancel the show off TV. Then they release Season 1 and half of season 2 on DVD (they have no plans to release the remaining episodes). Then they increase licensing fees to the point that Greg Weisman (creator of Gargoyles) can't continue the SLG comics.
Fuck you, Disney. Fuck you up the ass with a flame-engulfed, barbed-wire pineapple.
Great lyrics though.

I'm a bit surprised by how many people didn't notice or realize that a good chunk of the actors from Star Trek: The Next Generation did the voices of the show. They even made the characters look like the actors. Xanatos was voiced by Jonathan Frakes who played William Riker, Demona was voiced by Marina Sirtis who played Councilor Troi. And Puck was voiced by Brent Spiner who played Data. Also, Biff from Back to the Future voiced Elisa's partner Matt, but he's actually a major voice actor for tons of cartoons and video games.
As I kid I recognized the Star Trek cast almost immediately, but then I was really into Star Trek then as well.
These lyrics were indeed hilarious, I loved the part about Disney trying to show they don't have to be prissy-gay, as well as the Star Trek line of course.

03.13.2009 - 06:18 | bowenarrowI love these. Keep em coming. What about live action shows like Adventures of Lois and Clark, Buffy, Angel, Sliders...well Sliders has that voice over intro for a bit, but anyway.

That being said, please do some project in the future that includes Gargoyles. All I know is that Gargoyles was one of my favorite shows growing up. And I was absolutely devastated that they only were around for three seasons, the third season being of a significantly lower level (no, I do not believe it actually sucked as many fans proclaim...) because of what Disney did to Greg Weisman.
Perhaps include it in a Top 11 Underated Nostalgic Shows? Only a simple suggestion, you're the actual artist.
