i agree completely, batman was just a better show than superman, batman dealt with way more adult situations while superman was just a boyscout and the themesong of both shows it

I'm not trying to start a flame war here, and I think a few people mentioned it already, but I highly doubt you actually watched the whole superman series, or you wouldn't have claimed that the batman show had more "adult situations." Now, first off, I liked both shows just as much (I don't know if you know that were done by the SAME PEOPLE), as well as pretty much the entire DCAU (The rest of the DCAU shows deffinitely need Doug to add lyrics for them). However, Superman the animated series was just as mature and adult as batman TAS, and it aired at just the right time in the 90's that it could get away with more. I mean, seriously, it's the only saturday mourning chartoon that I know of that actually had a member of it's core cast MURDERED IN COLD BLOOD by the main villain (darkseid was scary dude). Not to mention that episode that dealt with THE DEATH PENALTY, and showed a criminal being EXECUTED (or at least showed the switch being pulled). If anything, STAS was one of the few media that showed how much more there is to Superman that being "just a boyscout."
Anyway, Great Job on the Lyrics as usual Doug!
