You keep calling the lead "Sliders Guy" This guy played Jimmy Olsen in Lois and Clark. He was never one of the main cast members on Sliders. Not trying to be Douchey McNitpick, just FYI. :)

Just to add more nitpicking here, he was the second guy to play Jimmy on that show. He replaced Michael Landes from the first season.

Sorry, but it's a bad impression, extremely annoying to the point of obnoxiousness. This is nothing like the Bart video, which was in character, with a guy expressing realistic frustration. This was just him choosing to be annoying, somehow not realizing that annoying and funny are contradictory concepts.
I honestly think it was rude to his listeners who came for a commentary about the review

11.16.2011 - 19:45 | snoofulusIt's a question, of taste, I guess. I couldn't care less how bad of an "impression" this was (sounded more like some themepark pirate), I thought it was hilarious at best and amusing at worst - he went on and on, and it just couldn't get old.
However, I often find myself annoyed at his high-pitched shrieking rants when they go on for too long - the less of that, the better, which is why I dislike the Bum, too.
Whatever.

For the record, I HAVE seen the sequel and it has NOTHING to do with this movie. No returning characters, no returning plot points, nothing. Everything is completely different...and actually a hell of a lot better. I'd hesitate to call it a GOOD movie, but what they did was actually pretty damn effective and it had a hell of a lot more to do with D&D than this piece of shit.

What about blue-lips? He was the main villain... they just dropped the he just sucked off a Smurf look and made him more like a warlock or demon because of the curse from this movie and thankfully that was the only connection.

Sorry this sucks worse than your Let's Play of Bart's Nightmare and Rob talking on the phone in another commentary.
Btw real consistent policing there deleting my comment on the previous video which was a direct quote of Doug Walker himself at the beginning of of the James and the Giant Peach review! Either the moderator doesn't watch these videos, or the Walkers can dish it out but can't take criticisms... especially if they wrote the criticisms themselves!!! Brilliant.

God, that was annoying! ...and hilarious. Seriously, I'm not kidding, by the end I was *really* pissed off at Doug for not letting the voice thing go, and I couldn't stop laughing. I haven't been this confused about my reaction to something since that time at summer camp.
So, you weren't going to bother doing a Doctor Who joke because you thought that no one would care? On *this* site??? Hell, forget the audience, most of the other *reviewers* would have never let you hear the end of it. There are probably more reviewers on this site that own Sonic Screwdrivers than there are that have health insurance.

I think you approached Melvin territory with a commentary, that's impressively bad. Rob thanks for making this semi-watchable.

I thought the commentary was hilarious! If it had just been Doug the Jeremy Irons thing probably would've gotten old and annoying fast, but with Rob there it worked.

You know how the main character said he went into the map and found out what to do? One of the deleted scenes on the DVD is that actually happening. Unbelievable!
