02.01.2010 - 21:11 | That Damme Internet GuyI saw this and thought I was losing my mind. Didn't the critic do moonwalker already? Then I noticed it was a commentary, a glorious commentary.
Can I second "The hills are alive... With the sound of
JAMON!" very amusing.
Is that a giant dog at 15:36?

"We were raised in a 1920's gangster environment?"
Thank you guys. Just, thanks. I think I have a new parenting strategy for my future offspring.
If I were you, I'd tell people I was raised as a 1920's gangster, if not for the funny looks and general confusion, then for the street cred. Mind, it'll be 1920's cred, but if you've got an AT&T street cred plan, you'll get rollover cred.

Okay, I don't think I managed to say this one in the first run, but... the kids were in the last scene. They were the three silhouettes on the side of the stage, that is.
Granted, given that they were the driving force of the story, or at least Katie was, for most of the time, they should've at least been shot in close-up once or twice during "Come Together" -- which, sad to say, is the fourth-best performance of the song I've ever heard, and I forget who did the third :?: -- instead of being ignored for all of it. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if those two shots of them (maybe three) were spliced into another performance.
All in all, though, the main section needs more of these commentaries, not that I'm complaining. Just nit-picking ;) .

02.02.2010 - 00:26 | RedKanaryThe California Raisins animator's name is Will Vinton, and his studio actually owns the trademark for "Claymation." (The technical term is stop-motion.) And yes, he did work on "Moonwalker."
