I rarely watch Linkara videos mostly because I am not a comic book reader, but his jokes and acting is really really funny at times. My favorite was the Doom Comic. Also, can you lower the volume of the movie and increase your commentary? Just hard to concentrate on your commentary with when the movie's audio is overlapping.

Well...Spoony has a talent of rambling in his commentaries even longer than his video is...which I really like. :lol:
Doug has a very different style of doing his commentaries though...he references alot more actual dialog from the review so I think it's kinda necessary that you can still hear the original sound...or at least you can hear it better than in spoonies commentaries.

Well, this was good. I like these commentaries since you sort of explain some behind the scenes stuff or just explaining how the video is made.

Awesome commentary there Doug :) . But it did make me ponder something, something that i think a lot of people missed cause this movie is so bad.. Did Superman kill Nuclear Man by dumping him into the core of a nuclear plant and used as a power source? I mean it depends if you can consider Nuclear Man as a real person or if it actually killed him (didn't seem too healthy in there) . Depends on how you interpret it, but seriously, if both factors are right, then that has to be the stupidest crowning moment of the movie...Superman KILLING someone.

Well I didn´t really see Linkara´s comment as pro-"nuclear weapons". It was just a statement that it would be totally unrealistic for the nations to just throw their expensive symbols of power away, especially if everyone could just make new missiles.

Anyway, great commentary. ^^

I loved this episode. Great commentary. Btw, Linkara is 100% right about why getting rid of nukes is retarded. Anyone who disagrees needs to read up on international relations theory. Also, that does look like a set from Brazil; the huge room where Michael Palin tortures suspected terrorists. I feel very vindicated that my favorite movie is also Doug's favorite movie.

You know what's sad about Superman IV is that kids aren't going to be all nit-picky about the movie. I know I wasn't when I was a kid, and then years later I finally realized what a load of crap this movie was. It was in very small part well-intentioned, but it ended up being a joke of itself. Great commentary Critic! I'd love to hear some more and hope you'll eventually do a "Behind the Nostalgia" special for VH-1.

I attribute the difference in your style and Lewis's mainly to the fact that, being that he works in comics instead of movies, he actually [i]has[/i] to narrate and exposit most of what's going on for the reader.
