I think that the crew had a feeling some might steer clear from this unless they knew Doug was involved after the first one. Spoony seems to be one of the most grounded guys featured on the site, and at least appears to to keep his ego in check even though Linkara , and he are arguably directly behind or equal to Doug in terms of popularity, and raw talent. I don't mean to offend any of the other great contributors on this site, and my opinion might be off. Angry Joe, Benzaie, Lee, Nostalgia Chick,Sage, and others have certainly found a place, and a loyal following here as well.

This episode completely changed my opinion on whether this type of idea could actually be funny instead of just awkward, and somewhat disturbing(in a bad way). I am trying to analyze why I am able to laugh at the thought of Spoony "date raping" Doug, and Joe(I didn't include Sage since he appeared to be perfectly.....ummm... willing), but finding the episode with Lindsay just wrong. Logically both instances should be looked at the same way, but it is just so hard to take men being raped seriously unless it is a prison film.

Strangely this episode made me laugh much more then I expected when I first loaded it up. Pulling out the George Takei book worked beautifully in setting up the "Spocker" joke. Sage deserves massive credit as well for selling his appearance, and for risking making himself look really bad if his "punchline" didn't work as well as it did.

I feel dirty saying this, but I kinda hope an episode with Linkara comes along one day. Sorry Linkara for suggesting it, I can't imagine something like that being on your list of things you would like to do. :confused: Maybe as a special for the next TGWTG donation drive for the yearly anniversary. Thanks for the laugh guys, and now excuse me for I need to to find heavy duty Brillo pad to use for a shower! :P
