Well, the original "This is Sparta" remix uses the same back beat, so there really isn't a new sort of innovation for this song. Kind of let down.
As for the commentary, this is, as usual, a great opportunity for us to see more of how you and Rob think of your videos. Being behind the camera can be hard for your "fame", but all the hard work really shows.
Thanks Doug, and thanks Rob for all your great work.

well i don't think just because some guy says the word "first" everyone needs to start calling him a moron and such and acting rude some people just get here first and say it. its like if i wait and im first i don't say "first" i say "Bacon" no one would care, for that matter even understand, but the idea is that if you choice not to care you wont if you choice to be a douche like Mr. "your a moron if you say your first" or like Mr. "STFU" up there then eh i suppose there's no reasoning with you. the only reason i commented on this "first" thing is because i have seem some people just go over bored and act just out plain rude to others and putting in time to not only be rude but try to hurt others peoples feelings over something that's in itself normal.

11.12.2009 - 10:29 | adrasl300Yeah this "shut up "First"faggot".
"And you are a really bad bad man for saying first" is really annoying.
And even if a comment would contain alot of feedback and such and then end with a "Its nice to be first for a change".
People would still start screaming like retarded monkeys and hitting the "thumbs down" button like their having a nervous breakdown!
Whats up with them!? Are they secretly jealous?
Did they have tramautizing experience as a child with the word "first"?

it's a big EGO thing. Think about it. To be "first" for a comment on a site like this where there are literally *thousands* of people checking this website every day, you have to be on the site the moment the video is uploaded, and then think you're all cool and mighty because you're the first to view it. when in all honesty other people are thinking "man....get a life"

i think you guys give it waaaay too much thought. who cares anyway? annoying? why should it be annoying - its just some guy saying ,,first" . WOAH! BIG DEAL! or maybe it bothers you that deep down inside you want to be the ,,first" ;) You shouldn't worry that someone somewhere who you will never f**ken meet , should get a life. better just ignore them until they get really annoying.

Actually I've seen this before in the donators corner and it's still fun to watch!
But.. Unfortunately, there was plenty of stuff you just mention briefly and then get interrupted by each other..
Anyway
I would love to see you guys also make an commentary for the supermario supershow.
Edit:
This picture may answer your question, why centaurs are never in furry-art ;)

Well I'm a furry and I don't like any cartoon. I just like the feeling of not being a human. I find being a human very boring and pretending I'm something else is fun. I have seen a centaur furry before, just it's very downplayed since it's not the most cutsie thing. The majority are bunnies, wolves, and members of the cat family.

11.11.2009 - 20:51 | JforJaysonIf you want to see something really good made from nothing, check out The Protomen. They made a rock opera based on Megaman and it came out very similar to Sonic Sat AM what with the Orwellian setting and the dark tones with an obvious (to anyone who's played the games) but very well done twist. You can download a torrent pretty much anywhere but Acts I and II run for about $10 each. If you ever listen to it, read the manual or official lyrics as you do. It explains the story.

Hey Doug,
I'm wondering if you've ever considered reviewing a 1996 film called Balto, directed by the great grandson of Jules Verne and starring the voice talents of Bob Hoskins( who framed Roger Rabbit)Jim Cummings(Pete from Walt Disney cartoons and Ed the hyena)Kevin Bacon ( who did some movies I don't of) Bridget Fonda ( the daughter of Jane Fonda) and Phil Collins (the singer). Just asking. Heard you take requests and that you actually like some of the things you negatively criticize. Really like your work.
-
Listen, BaltoStephenWinter; this is a COMMENT section for the video posted above. That means that comments posted relate to the content of the video and/or your own views of the subject matter. Praise, critique, analysis, etc. about the commentary above.
NOT to post requests that won't get read.
If you have a request, go to the forum section and plead your case under the New NC Request forum. Doug's not going to take your idea into account if you post it here, guarenteed. Plus, how ill-informed do you think everyone is? Everyone in the world has heard of Balto, and yet you describe it like it's a Ralph Bakshi film. Kind of insulting actually.
Forgive the slight harshness, but I'd really like to point you in the right direction for the future. Requests are great, just think about WHERE and HOW you do so. 'K?

His name was Antoine, not Pierre.
SatAM was canceled because of the low ratings it got because it was up against Power Rangers.
And the thing with the red eyes at the end of the show was--and I'm quoting Season 2 head writer Ben Hurst here--supposed to be Ixis Nagus, the wizard who was trapped in the Void with King Acorn.
And yeah. Sally is friggin' awesome.
-
11.12.2009 - 02:00 | jdd881It was a shame that SatAM got cancelled. If Power Rangers wasn't in the same slot, it would've done a lot better in the ratings. We may have even seen the third season.
