Yeah it was kinda cheesy but not bad... the part in the dark was creepy and would have been creepier if I didn't see the kid turn and duck out of the shot, but aside from minor gripes and knowing that you where probably doing the best with what technology you had at the time it was a pretty good short film.

I will admit, you got a jump out of me. Not hard to do considering that even the thought of undead children, in all forms, royally creeps me out. The idea of writing an angry note to a ghost was funny. The ending was where it all came together nicely. Also enjoyed how you conveyed the story without much talking.
Overall: Really enjoyed it.

Hey, Jenny went into selling homes after her marriage to that other guy...
Seriously, the exposition was okay, if cliched. The exposition from Superman IV, now THAT was bad. I figured with the kid ghost that you'd eventually play with it, like comic book Casper played with people who found him, not like movie review Casper which deserved what he got, little f***er.
One last thing, does his thing against the "walls closing in" *cough*claustrophobia*cough* only affect how he feels about his bedroom? That hallway to the three rooms is pretty narrow...

Wow this is really well done Doug, it wasn't very scary but still it was really well done:D. (They way you deal with a ghost is some much better then the wimps in movies that just scream all through the movie) I love the bit when your fixing the lights and you turn around to see if you can see anything in the shaddows and you get a glimps of the kids face, that was a bit scary.

It wasn't really scary, but the moments were fun and there was some thought on how to shoot the scenes. I liked the ending also. It was interesting how there was no epic climatic battle or how the ghost didn't want to leave and we had to sit through an explanation why.
So far I've been enjoying these Flashbacks, or at least they are quirky like Going West or whatever it was called.

This series is great to watch, because it's always fun to watch the developing stages of a filmaker in their early years. That's why I love watching "Bedhead" so much.
Though not terrifying, the music here definitely gave the film it's moments of shock. The suspense was nicely built up, setting the backstory did well for the plot, and the ending was both creepy and funny at the same time. Nice job Doug and Rob.
The only dominant problem that actually COULD have been fixed was the lighting. I know it's primitive video quality, but glares from windowns and dark shadowns are a constant problem in seeing what's going on in this series. Nothing that can be fixed NOW (obviously), just something that I'm glad is no longer an issue for TGWTG.
Nevertheless, congrats on doing so well at such an early stage. This video shows not just early talent, but the ability to adapt to several different styles from episode to episode. Your humility in showing us this work has definitely been well worth the payoff.

I think it was frightening, in some spots, you definitely build great atmosphere :)
Also some humour; I loved that note on the door! And the ending was very sweet.
I think you did a fine job! You should think of remaking this as a sort of project, polish it up and whatnot. I mean, with newfangled technology these days...
5 stars! Two thumbs up! :D
I thought the exposition in The Next Karate Kid was much worse
