Just because the critic doesn't like a movie doesn't really mean you don't have to any more.

Since Arnie has retired from film his back catalog of work has gained a nostalgic shine to it. So watching these films still leaves me with a warm feeling(well except for Jingle all the Way, and Hercules Goes Bananas). Lets face it, this film is not a crowning achievement, and it didn't break any barriers. However, I will give Arnold this, atleast he had the resolve to allow himself to be made fun of in a manner that many other actors would have thrown tantrums over.

Maybe it's because usually I see the Movies overdubbed in german and his "talking" is therefore accent-free.

I can't say I ever saw this movie when I was younger. Despite some points you have proven I could see this being entertaining when it came out. I don't think it was supposed to be taken as seriously as Arnolds other movies. I could see it easily as being a spoof of Hollywood movies in general....the cartoon cat is beyond me...ha ohh the cheesiness..ah well.
