This is the second film that i actually had to pause the review because it was too bad to take in one go, the other was Garbage Pail Kids, I feel dirty.
  • Taufiq91  - Fuck anyone involved in the making of this shit

I feel like destroying my home ala The Room after watching this.

With shit like this, it's no wonder why Japanese people resorted to hunting whales and making tentacle hentai. This is sick.

At least that blonde chick was good enough(for an hentai).

"An" henti? Damb man spell much? It's not like the phrase, "an historic occasion."

The way you said it is way off. Here's some examples:

I want to watch "an" henti movie. Yes "an" henti movie would be a capital thing to watch. If I where to watch any type of porn movie it would be "an" henti.

I agree with this chick below. "A" henti/tentacle movie is a good time to be had by all.

Isn't it funny when people who correct someone else's spelling end up making typos themselves?
  • Shadowflame66
    avatar
Yeah, you may want to notice these: "hentai", "damn", "here are" (not here's), "were" (not where). You also missed some commas.

So, you made many more mistakes than the person you were correcting, which is generally a bad thing to do on the internet because you come out looking like the fool.

I'm surprised that he didn't mention that threw out this entire KID'S movie that all the female character had a full foot of CLEAVAGE! Don't believe me go back and watch it again the girl and her "evil" Stepmother both have V-necks nearly down to their navels! Also, doesn't the look on the girl's and her father's faces look a little "Wierd" to anyone else like they are "enjoying" their "hug" a little toooooooooooo MUCH!!!!

    This is just atrocious!

Surprisingly, this is a Korean movie XD. I'm very curious as to why a nation that in no way was impacted by the tragic events of the titanic nor had any of they're citizens onboard would make this dreck anyway?!
  • Lumenesca
    avatar
According to IMDB, it's an Italian/Korean collaboration, and it came out two years BEFORE the animated musical.

So that's two shitty, insulting Titanic animated films from the SAME COUNTRY. Something's not right here.

DEAR GAWD WHAT IF THERE'S MORE?!

I'd include that Tentacles movie mentioned at the end, but I can't find any info about it, so it might not actually exist. Probably just one of NC's jokes... at least I hope it is. D:

Edit: HAHA DISREGARD THAT. It actually exists. I just now found it. The damn thing apparently came out seven years ago. Be afraid.

Edit 2: HOLY BALLS IT HAS A RAPPING SHARK. BE VERY AFRAID.

Seriously, the people that died on the Titanic weren't really dead?!?!? I usually would say "well it could be worse-" in this case, but it would still sound wrong!

Imagine if they used this opening line on a animated movie about The Holocaust. I pray to God every day that I am wrong about there being a animated movie about that tragic event.

Come to think of it I don't know what would be terrifying...a horribly made animated movie rip-off of Titanic or Schiendler's List.
  • The Shamster
    avatar
I am in pain....This film was so insulting to the memories of those who died, and the fact that none of the decendants of the deceased or the survivors of the REAL Titanic disaster sued the shit out of the film makers makes me....(grabs head in agony)...Agh! Never mind.

Santa-Christ! Where are you? we need our minds and souls cleansed of this vile filth!

I had to pause it too, but because I was laughing myself into insanity. Speaking of sanity, I don't think I have much left after watching this. I feel like I should have a lot to say about this movie, but I can no longer form the words for the amount of disgust that I'm feeling.

If the movie industry is going to be trivializing great disasters, why not just make Holocaust: The Musical?
  • Animeking1108
Sounds like something either Seth McFarlane or the guys who made South Park would make.
  • Abusoru
Only difference is if they were to make it, it might actually be entertaining. After all, the South Park guys just released a Broadway musical about Mormons.
  • Sheranda
    avatar
    Or Seth Green.
  • Dwane
If Seth McFarlane or Matt Stone and Trey Parker (South Park) made either a Titanic or Holocaust: The Musical, it would be orders of magnitude better than this. At least they wouldn't pretend the horrible stuff never happened unless they were making fun of people who pretend horrible stuff never happened.
  • Sheranda
    avatar
Nah. These people would kill off any character if they thought it would be funny.

There's a recent episode of Family Guy that starts with an elementary school play about Terry Shiavo's death. Her brother has been organizing protests to take the episode off the air and to have the TV show cancelled. Well, he has my support. Family Guy has been getting worse and worse since 2009. The humor has always been somewhat insulting and offensive, but this was just cruel. I bet Terri Shiavo was a Christian/Republican. That would probably be enough reason for Seth to do this.

Dude, don't give them any ideas.
  • SomeGuyonTheInternet  - Dont mean to break your thunder but...

Look at that mouse with the yellow shirt. That's a clear knock-off of Tony Toponi from An American Tail. Y'all remember him right? That worthless friend who doesn't help Fievel and chases after some mouse tail? Black hair, same hair style, and overall design.
    http:// foxx278.tripod.com/ tony01.jpg

One more thing, the character designs make no sense.
All "Joe" needs is half a mask to complete his ensemble. Seriously, he should be playing with great sorrow over an organ.

What a disgrace to cinema, history, and to the memories of the deceased. F*ck this film.
Scoot over, Doug, don't hog the mirror to yourself. *sobs*
  • Da_Foo

Well, they DID try to make a sitcom starring Hitler... and a sitcom starring a giant owl.
  • malhex  - uh....

didn't uwe boll make a holocaust movie recently?
  • GLKnight
    avatar
    Mel Gibson's in talks, currently.
  • johnkenpwns
You know what? That doesn't sound like a bad idea.
All things considered, a travesty of that magnitude can't possibly go unnoticed by ANYONE.
There's taking creative liberties with history and pissing on the graves of those who actually lived it.
I don't know...I'm going under the impression that if word ever got out that if something like the Holocaust was given that kind of treatment, it would derail these stupid films from being made regardless of budgets and/or companies involved.
So, yes, if it will put a stop to these movies and get people to do some basic research for a change, I welcome the thought of "Holocaust: The Musical".
If anything, it would make for one hell of a wake-up call.
  • Ygdrasel  - They DID make a holocaust musical.
    avatar
Springtime For Hitler, anyone? The Producers, yes?

Also, NC needs more epic intros to his reviews like this one.
  • Japanthewoman

Or the true story of 9/11 where all the deaths were just misunderstandings because the sewer rats ended up saving everyone with the help of some giant spiders.

Heck, you could make that one about whaling too, why not.

Hell, I actually wouldn't be surprised if they started making animated kids movies about 9/11 in a hundred years.

I'm praying the world won't last long enough for that to happen. I don't care if it's due to the sun exploding or Christ coming, as long as it prevents the possibility of such a horrid idea.

    @drumlip

At least that movie concept was spared by Steven Speilburg who gave it the dignity and tact it derserved....

God knows what would have happened if it fell into the wrong hands we really could have ended up with a "Holocaust: The Musical".
  • Kryss LaBryn
Well, because the Holocaust never happened. Magical moonbeam whales saved everyone. *Facepalm*

Also, this is kinda Douchy of me, but I just wanted to point out that it wasn't just "hundreds" of people, it was just over fifteen hundred.

Jesus. Fifteen hundred people rescued by magical moonbeam whales. Weird how all the papers got it wrong, eh? Papa Mouse there must have been deep into his cups to come up with that joke.

This movie pisses me off so much. Gods. *Headdesk*

This was the first animated Titanic movie. Tentacolino is the second one. The Legend Goes On is the third. Do some research, Doug! Also, "Nuke the Whales"?! Are you trying to upset animal lovers?!
  • Semudara
    avatar
Wait...so the other animated Titanic movie that he reviewed...

    ...was the sequel to Tentacolino?

    ...

...if you'll excuse me, I need to stare at myself in a mirror and cry softly.
  • baticus_moronicus

I assumed that was a reference to that episode of the Simpsons where Nelson has a Nuke The Whales poster in his room. As he said 'gotta nuke somebody!'

  • Morgoth Bauglir
    avatar
Are you trying to defend these movies?
  • Sheranda
    avatar
No. I'm just expressing my frustration at the Critic failing to check the background of the movie he's reviewing, you know, like he used to do. Is finding a list of Titanic movies in chronological order on Wikipedia so difficult? He could have briefly talked about the fact that there were so many movies made about the Titanic, and that THIS is the first fully animated one.

But, oh well. The beginning of this review was hilarious.
  • El Sijo
No, he's just upset how the movie makes the Save The Whales rhetoric more important than all the people who died when Titanic sunk.

(and his outburst was funny. :P )
  • Sheranda
    avatar
Well, I was still mad at what he said at the end of the Pound Puppies review. You know, "Let 'em rot!"?
  • tencowbrigade
    Oh god.

Will I get banned for posing a link to the Offended? page on ED? Because I need that. Right now. Seriously. If you're mad over something silly like that, turn off the fucking computer and go outside, because I fear for your mental condition.
  • Sheranda
    avatar
I'm over it now. I'll just have to accept that the Critic makes mistakes.
  • Lumenesca
    avatar
Wonderful how you spout about doing research when you didn't bother to fact check yourself.

Legend of the Titanic (AKA the shite movie in this review) -- 1999

    Legend Goes On -- 2001

In Search of the Titanic (AKA the fucktarded sequel to LotT) -- 2004

    That's the proper chronological order.

In reference to your other comment, I disagree that it was in any way important for Doug to explain that this was the first animated Titanic film in a long line of Titanic films. How would that little nugget of knowledge make the review any better? The review was plenty brilliant without it.

Also, really? You're gonna go all high-and-mighty Animal Rights Nazi on Doug for including a SIMPSONS REFERENCE?! Jesus Christ! And that one minor remark he made in his Pound Puppies review apparently greatly upset you. Okay, it's one thing to be against legitimate animal cruelty and a whole other ball game to baww and rage over something that is SO VERY OBVIOUSLY a joke. To me, you come off sounding like an excitable child who was spoonfed PETA propaganda from infanthood.
  • Sheranda

Upset animal lovers? That pictures from the Simpsons, dude...
  • Sheranda
    avatar
Now, it makes sense! I haven't watched The Simpsons in years. That's why I didn't see the joke. Now that I know this, what I said earlier seems silly. Again, sorry for saying all that. I'm sure Doug puts in all the effort he can put into a review this close to the third year anniversary.

What? We don't get any... "Do what must be done. Do not hesitate. Show no mercy."

Anywho, after seeing this review I'm left with only one question. Why has no one done horribly animated movies on the Hindenburg? It seems like an untapped market.

Also, speaking of rewriting history, can anyone tell me what movie it was that had people abduct people from disasters to take them to some sort of heaven? It was a bit sci-fi-ish. been awhile and it's bugging the crap out of me.
  • mumbls  - I know the answer
    avatar
It was Millennium with Kris Kristofferson and some Blonde from the 80s. The people from 2991 had cloned others who "died" so that they could repopulate the species. It was an interesting time travel movie.

I'm-I'm so sorry I just can't believe the horridness of our humanity.

I mean while I was seeing this review I myself couldn't believe it,I couldn't believe how bad this movie was,and I didn't even want to I mean my freaking GOD!

I didn't believe it would be even worse then the last movie,I mean the last movie had a horrible shitty rapping dog,it can't possibly be getting any worse oh but it did.

I mean.....fucking moon magic?Moon Magic in a Titan film!?!I just can't believe how awful this film is.I mean really bad.I mean a Titan film with talking mice with an obvious villain and step dad is bad enough already with an obvious villain. But combine that with the fact talking flying whales using moon magic and sharks and giant talking fucking octopus with dog face saving and yet with nobody...No one dying in this freaking Titan disaster and accident is.....just fucking awful. It's insulting actually especially how real people died during this disaster, and having this shit thrown at you is just awful.

Oh Critic I don't mind letting you not review the sequal of the Tenticle films because this shit is already bad enough, let someone else review it please.

I mean this is literally on par with Birdemic, Five Across The Eyes, Garbage Pale Kids, The Room, and all the Asylum Fucking films I mean it is that fucking bad.Really worse than Batman and Robin and that's saying alot. This really is a legend of awkwardness it really is,saw the other animated film I didn't know how it could possibly get any worse but oh how I was wrong because their is.I mean Jesus.

This is why Aliens don't invade our planet,I mean really who would want to at this point seriously.
  • Surfermario1  - Hey...
Don't insult the Asylum by comparing this piece of crap with their films. Their films are more realistic that this pile of turd.

The other one feels like a fever dream.

...Like I said, I haven't even hit the play button yet, and I already hit the nail on the head with this one, haven't I? Oh man, this is gonna be "one of those episodes", isn't it? Well...here I go. If I don't make it back, tell my wife I said "Who the Hell are you?".

What the hell is with talking animals? Do kids really like talking animals? I did think the animation was better then the first rip off, but the plot, good Thor, the plot. Also Great opening, the Nooooo felt more real, since it is about reviewing this, over the death of that one hot chick from star wars that raps.

MOON POWER!!!! Also, we need to end with the animals being heroes.

Kids like talking animals. When used appropriately. By which I mean allowing a writer to tell a story with adult characters, issues, and if desired generally darker stuff than a 'standard' kids book. And in a way children can process and relate to. In other words; the complete opposite of this movie.
  • RockinDover  - Are you really asking if kids like talking animals
    avatar
Judging by my childhood fascination with Sonic comics and my adulthood fascination with the ABC cartoon they were based on, as well as the popularity of Scooby-Doo, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, Goof Troop, the original Disney shorts, and the original Warner Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts, yes, children love talking animals to death, some more than reality.

...And people wonder where furry fetishes come from?

What have we done to deserve this? One rip-off is bad enough, but there's another?

Oh, and not to be douchey here even though it's no use to state some correction, this Animated Titanic movie was released in 1999 - that other Titanic movie that you first review was released in 2001. So, this 1999 Titanic animated film was the "first" rip-off and that the other one was the film that, as you stated Doug, "rip-off the rip-off". So yeah, the morons who made this film were two years ahead before the 2001 came to existence to give us - us as humanity - a Rapping Dog.

*Sign* It's not like I'm reminding you or anybody else here to look at it just to point out of a mistake so that I'll expect you can put that in the next list of F-ups. Well, you know what? Screw that, neither this film and the other Titanic film doesn't deserve our kindness and pity. Furthermore, you really didn't need to review this Doug. You should know better dude, you-should-know-better. '_'

Well, we're here for a reason and I can say you did a great review. Well done Doug, well done. :)

What's with these animation studios and making yet ANOTHER bad Titanic film?

Nice job on the intro. “Revenge of the Sith,” as everyone knows is one of my favorite films, and the “NOOOOOO” bit has been done to death, but still nice. BTW, after seeing the title of this episode, I felt the same way.

According to Wikipedia, this film was made 2 years BEFORE "The Legend Goes On," but this one is also Italian.

4:34- I REALLY need to get a copy of James Cameron’s “Titanic” on DVD or Blu-Ray after watching this.

11:20- I’m in the same state of emotion as you are, Doug. I’d rather be watching The Asylum’s “Titanic 2” than this.

The sharks sinking the Titanic bit is like saying if giant flocks of birds is what caused 9/11. ITALY, DON’T YOU HAVE ANY F***IN’ RESPECT FOR HISTORY!?!?

Awesome job with the clip from “Star Trek IV.”

I agree that this film has the same type of stupidity as something like “Birdemic.” In speaking about bad films about the Titanic, is there any chance you might review “Raise the Titanic” from 1980?

24:20- That’s good, because after watching you’re review of this hour and a half long migraine, I’m glad you’re not overstaying for the spin-off.

    SpeedyEric, that's a rhetorical question.

High five for loving Revenge of the Sith. Individually, the movies are good(Prequels are debatable) but as all six movies together, it's the best movie series ever made. Suck it Harry Potter(Books are better), screw you Lord of the Rings(Again, books are better).
  • SpeedyEric
    avatar
Thanks, August M. BTW, I love the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings films.

Yeah. Admitting on this site that you actually like one of the Star Wars prequels is pretty brave.

Asylum made a sequel to James Cameron's Titanic?! Don't expect Film Brain to review that.
  • SpeedyEric

It's not a sequel. It's about a cruise ship carrying on the legacy of the legendary ship. Also, "Titanic 2" is talked about in Brad "The Cinema Snob" Jones' list of the Top 10 Worst Films of 2010.

BTW, I love all 6 episodes of Star Wars equally, and the entire saga is my #1 film of all time.

when i saw that this was on ANOTHER animated titanic movie...i hoped it would be better then the italian one....now...all i can say is.....*takes deep breath* WORST. ANIMATED. MOVIE. EVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!! !! *nukes the fucking eifeil tower* this is the most insulting movie EVER!! i mean this took a horrible traumatic disaster and made it to.....american sonic x level. U KNO!! 4 KIDZ!!! but i dont care what you say this is the WORST ANIMATED MOVIE EVER!!! *nukes the fucking pyramids of egypt* *gasps for breath* ...crap i just destroyed two of the seven wonders of the world didnt i? ...and neither andre the giant nor joanie "chyna" laurer count there...

I cringed at the bad grammar, poor spelling, and desperate over-the-top attempt at garnering Doug's respect by shrieking in terror at the film; but once 4Kids was brought up, I just stopped reading. Goddamn weeaboos.
  • crazyseandx
dont call me a weeaboo. look it was 1 in the morning i was out of it waiting for this review before i went to bed and when i watched it...it was the straw that broke the fucking camel's back. i may have overacted but this in my eyes is the worst animated movie ever...hands down
  • Sheranda

What's wrong with complaining about 4Kids? Sure, it's not really an appropriate place to do it, but I'm sure a lot of people don't understand that Pokémon would be cooler if it wasn't for 4Kids. That company no longer dubs the show, but the scars remain.

Get a room, you god-damned amateur. Save the skit-esque comedy for the actual skits!
  • crazyseandx
ok i am an amatuer and shouldve stuck with actual visuals....ill just repeat as i said to the other guy... look it was 1 in the morning i was out of it waiting for this review before i went to bed and when i watched it...it was the straw that broke the fucking camel's back. i may have overacted but this in my eyes is the worst animated movie ever...hands down

You copy/pasted your reply to the other guy, word-for-word, right down to the ellipsis, as a reply to me, even when you started your reply to ME in your own words?
That's pathetic! That's lazy! That's redundant! Never do that, or anything like that again!
Also, learn how to write a paragraph, and all that goes with it. Waking up early, and being angry do not excuse wall-of-text comments! Nor bad spelling.
  • Sheranda

At least crazyseadx has the decency of apologizing when he/she shows disrespect! Sometimes, for some reason, you can't delete something you posted earlier.
  • Sheranda

Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot to indent!
  • Pye Like Eye
You're comparing a horribly insulting movie to a 4Kids-dubbed anime. Yes, they did a horrible job, but that does not put anything produced by 4Kids on this level, and it's almost as insulting as this movie that you would think they were in any way similar.
And furthermore, really? Nuking the Eiffel Tower and the pyramids... this comment was already intolerable due to the bad spelling and no capitalization whatsoever, but this just makes it far, far worse.
  • crazyseandx
well excuse me for being lazy about grammer and spelling when it comes to the internet. but with the "u know for kids" line i intentionally did that not thinking about what other people would say...so i will(once again) repeat what i said to the other repliers.... look it was 1 in the morning i was out of it waiting for this review before i went to bed and when i watched it...it was the straw that broke the fucking camel's back. i may have overacted but this in my eyes is the worst animated movie ever...hands down

I'm sure this movie is bad in all languages. Dubbing has nothing to do with it.
  • RockinDover

American dub Sonic X level... *Laughs hysterically* That was pretty funny. *Regains composure* That said, this is far worse.

There's a Shameful Sequel to an even worse Titanic ripoff? Someone call MikeJ to review the stinker!

WTF? This was made partly in North Korea?

It says so right on IMDb.

    Haha

Edit: After further research I've found that the animation for the film was done by North Korea's SEK Studio.
  • Sheranda

Good! At least SOMEONE did research on this movie!
  • RocMegamanX  - So....wait a minute...
North Korea has an animation studio?!
