For a while I considered Animaniacs very stupid and insane.
But then I remebered I watched cartoons like Rugrats, Beavis and Butthead, and Tom and Jerry and everything seemed a whole lot better! Once I gave Animaniacs a chance I LOVED it, I loved the double meaning jokes, the violence, and the flat out insanity. Almost 100 episodes in all and I LOVE it. The voice acting was cool and the music wasn't half bad. I even remember that film Wakko's Wish, it was pretty good.
Now then, YOU GOT THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THE SHOW TO INTERVIEW! That is fucking cool love the interviews man never knew more about the show than I do now! Shame you couldn't get Stephen, that would be pure kick ass!
His Dad tickled him? Really?
Stephen faxing scripts?
Very few people offended? Wow, haha.
Hooked on a Ceiling is my second favorite episode!
The Michaelangelo in the Animaniacs now reminds me of Deidara for some reason.
I applaud you Nostalgia Critic for doing a proper Tribute.

"They don't make em like in the old days!"
Funny how that cliche can now apply to today.
Pretty damn amazing that Doug was able to get into contact with some of the crew. You know when I first saw this on the schedule I thought it would just be Doug reminiscing and praising the individual sketches, characters and songs. But THIS is a million times better.
"A fairy tale written by Tommy Wiseau"... zing!

That's the thing about Animaniacs, isn't it? The show is practically timeless, so those kinds of jokes are still funny, and possibly even more relevent, today, just like you said Quantum Wolf. I just watched a few episodes recently and decided I must find an entire DVD collection of the show. It's too good to pass up. =D
Seriously though Doug, I don't know how you did it, but you most definitely did it. I can't think of a better way to make a tribute to such a great show as Animaniacs. These interviews really shared some insight into the creative processes of the show and I couldn't be happier to learn more about it.
Thanks for the video Doug and, just in case they read these comments, thanks to the interviewees for helping make something so great. =)

As far as the censoring goes, yes, they did get away with a lot of stuff.
But... they were eventually caught for ONE character. Surprised after a second viewing of the vids that she wasn't mentioned at all. I think you know who I'm talking about:

A multi-parter. Very nice.
I gotta say, the nostalgia was overflowing on this one. Especially in the last part when you were interviewing the characters. Hearing Slappy's voice again had me smiling in a way I hadn't in years.
God I miss this show!
Also, great to see the return of the old joke about you and your "impulse control problem." Never thought I would see that again.
You realize, of course, that you will have to do a "making of," or a commentary, to let us all know about how this all came together.

This. So much.
The whole cartoon character commentary/improv had me laughing like I was a little bugger and watching the show again.
...Well, I'm like that when they re-run it in the mornings I'm able to catch the show. But the new material's always hilarious.
P.S.
Though it was mostly a tribute, I've got to say: "Best. Nostalgia Critic. Evar."

I don't know why I didn't do this sooner, that was greatest thing ever! Thank you so much for this! I could listen to these guys talk for hours [and I have].
You did make a booboo though, when Tom says he voiced himself, the guy you show talking is Peter Hastings [Tom is the one standing next to him] Caricatures, what can u do?
I think John out shone everyone with the comedy in this, I'm so sculpting him that bear he asked for. X3

A 3-Part Tribute, with interviews with some of the people who voice acted and worked with Animaniacs? No wonder it took so long to get onto the site... It must have taken a good chunk of your time to do this...
It feels awesome to know what went on behind the scenes at Animaniacs and how involved Steven was with the whole process. Now we should all work to getting more members of the Animaniacs cast members interviews with Doug.

An hours worth of interviews (better than the actual DVDs had) was a pleasant surprise! This just became one of your coolest videos!
