I second that, but I gotta say that most people unanimously agree the second one
blew donkey balls (poor donkey) They had an opportunity to do so much and
instead opted to show as many characters as possible with little to no story
whatsoever.

This is the review i have been waiting for since NC posted the list and it did
not disappoint

God I hated this movie, actually saw it in the theater. Load of crap, even
the action was horrible. No good fighting (yea in a movie called Double
Dragon), that's right no good fighting.

11 forgotten Nostalgia classics.
But this, was hilarious. You had me cracking up with the Mickey Mouse and Popeye

Just when I thought these movies couldn't get any stranger, along strolls
"Double Dragon".

No really, I spent a good chunk of the review in a complete state of stupor on
my face. I mean...why...how? How many keggers of acid were involved in the
"creation" of this movie?! Absurd doesn't even begin to describe this
thing!

But I kinda dug how you got a little "meta" on us at the end. Let's hope
you survive through the next review. May Optimus Prime stay by your side!

Is it me or are the movies NC reviews getting more and more craptacular? But
that's okay though, that only makes the review funnier. I think it's time for
the critic to review......(gulp)........Mortal Kombat Annihilation.

I remember this movie (barely), it was so long ago since I saw it I forgot
mostly about it! But, since it was a shitty movie I did not pay attention to it.
Anyway, onto reviewing your review! lol.

I dunno, I thought Mortal Kombat (the movie) was mildly decent. But no, I can't
recall any movie based off video games that would be classified as
"great" or even "good".

"It's the most shit-smacking-whore-eating-digusting piece of retro-ass I
have ever seen in my entire life!" Did I sense a slight Cheaster A Bum-esque
in that comment (though for a negative rather then positive effect)?
"No, this is the plot to Surf Ninjas." Aside from the whole
medallion-thing, YEAH!
OH MY GOD!!! I don't believe it! It is the bad-guy from Terminator 2: Judgement
Day! Except, with differant coloured hair and a goatee and dodgy moustache! But
it is the same guy!
Yeah, "New Angeles"...since when did they change the name in 2007?
Well, at least the main "heroes" are not called Bimmy and Jimmy.
OH MY GOD (again?)! The Power Core gang leader lady is that lady who plays
Phoebe in Charmed!
Geez, they DO just get random people to play in this movie! ;D

I didn't even know there was a movie for Double Dragon until now...

I couldn't be bothered to identify any of the other performers in this film...I
was too busy gawking at Robert Patrick's hair! Something has finally supplanted
Kurt Russel's flattop in Stargate as the standard-bearer for ill-conceived hair
cuts in major motion pictures.

But on the subject of game-movies, I liken their sucking to expecting a mechanic
to pull off successful open heart surgery. Though you've given him the right
tools, he's the wrong guy for the job. So if the game-movie stigma is ever to
be lifted, it must be headed up by the right director. As opposed to cynically
handing it off to professional hacks like Brett Ratner, or worse, people who
shouldn't be legally allowed to use a camera to even film home movies. I speak,
of course of a certain German fellow whose name shall not be mentioned as I
believe the utterance of that name conjures a profanity far far worse than any
swear word in any language.

"I just found out I have cancer.
HAR HAR HAR HAR!"

That made me laugh so hard. Amd Bison... classic

The next shitty video game movie review should be Sonic the Movie from the 1999.
It was basically an anime split into 2 episodes but packaged in the US as a
Sonic movie but it was just full of fail. You thought Pokeman the First Movie
was bad, check out Sonic the Movie. LOL @ Ice 1000

Great Vid NC. It's one of your funniest in a long time.

It claims one of the film's writers is Paul Dini! Paul Dini! Of Batman: TAS
fame! I guess nobody bats 1.000.

Oh and to reiterate: Robert Patrick's hair is the worst thing in this film.
Even worse than all the mohawks (even Bo-Abobo or Bo-Boboboboo(?) whatever)
worse than Alyssa Milano's stint as a butch blonde, worse than its shameless
plug of its own game.

This review kick Double dragon in the nuts and Make Bison come to life again
KICKASS!!

The first half was funnier than the 2nd half, lol. Very good point and example
about having the subject matter WITHIN the realm of the movie, the LotR example
was brilliant!

I didn't really like how the Bison joke had a prep for it, it should have just
happened. More natural, but it's your video! Haha, and the same goes with coming
back after being shot to say something. But again, just noting here. I really
look forward to the next one!

PS: I have to agree with the other members, Mortal Kombat wasn't THAT bad, not
nearly as bad as Street Fighter or this. After all, they're making another MK
movie, what's the status of SF and DD? Zip. Thank God. If you thought MK had
pointless action sequences, MK:A is even worse. If you don't review it, I will
after I finish my current one.

Its almost like if Hollywood like to piss us off,'cause if that's the case, then
way to go Hollywood, 'cause you are doing a fantastic job, you bastards! >
