When I say this trailer, I don't know why, but I was thinking you were going to give this a good review, just based of your trailer. I saw the movie so you really made me think, "No way, he can not give this a good review."

Back when we where kids we all got suckered in by this piece of shit movie. Heck i used to want to own anything that had Pokemon on it. We had gum, lollipops, games, movies, cards, and ofcourse the anime. those where good times actually, but im happy this movie finally got what it had coming to it.

yea its true i did still kinda like em if only to connect with the children in my extended family i actually still have one of the promo cards you got from seeing the movie its a rare promo arcanine foil ......... wonder how much its worth .... hmmmm internet here i come!!!

Just so you know, the Japanese version is much better than the insipid crap that we Americans got. Mewtwo's motivations were linked to his existential angst about being a creation of humans, not of God, and challenges Mew and teams up with Giovanni to find meaning in his life - of course, America couldn't handle such a "deep" theme (fffffffff) and so he just blows stuff up because he's angry. And [i]that[/i] led to the completely nonsensical moral at the end. Not only that, but during the fighting scenes in the Japanese version there was a huge amount of philosophical exposition from the fighting Pokemon and the onlooking Trainers, and in America we got "POKEMON ANGRY, WE SMASH EACH OTHER!"

I grew up with Pokemon. These days, the anime is actually a lot more mediocre than I recall it being 10 years ago.

But the games, no matter how repetitive, will kick ass now and forever. B)
