What video did you use for the very first house exploding in the massive exploding scene? I mean the very first one after "explain!" at 18:29. What video was that? Do you have a link to that video? It's a really awesome explosion, and I wanna see where it came from. It's really high resolution, too, but it doesn't exactly look like just movie fluff explosion stuff. Do you have a link to it, Critic?
Also, I've been watching more and more of your videos since I found them. You're a really amazing video series maker, and your Nostalgia series is really funny and entertaining. And you get better and better as it goes, too. Hope to see lots more.

I... loved this movie as a kid... :(
When I saw your upcoming list of Nostalgia Critic episodes and saw Quest for Camelot on there I freaked out. I told myself "It wasn't a bad movie, he can't be TOO hard on it can he?". After the intro I knew I could never look back at my childhood the same way ever again.
Still another hilarious episode nevertheless! Tears were cried and laughs were had! :cheer:
Edit: Also, I can sum up all of its flaws in one sentence. It was a chilren's fantasy movie trying to compete with Disney!

You know when I first saw the commercials for this movie, I figured it would be a welcome return to the classic tales of knights and fantasy.
But what I got was an uninspired cast of characters, the most putrid array of monsters and mythological beasts ever assembled, and a villain who belongs on the set of Inspector Gadget. Not to mention the most disgraceful dragon ever produced by an animator. Seriously, the Reluctant Dragon was more threatening than those two gay wads. As per your worries in your musical countdown from last episode, you were more than justified for being disgusted. The songs here are a collection of prissy nothings from the "prince," and the stupidest Abbot and Costello musical from the gaylord dragons.
I thank you for ripping apart this atrocity. I think I'll go watch the Flight of Dragons now. THAT was a real fantasy.

I respectfully disagree. Gary Oldman was delightfully mad, and he actually was kind of scary. I mean he grabs a fucking flail in mid swing, which can't be easy. The idea of weapons merging with people is sort of creative, although I'll admit the characters are weak. I still feel the acting was good.

Haha the stuff you go through for these reviews...i feel your pain. In defense of the movie though, the animation is actually pretty decent. But decent animation does not make up for horrible plot. Love the Captain Planet and Quest for the Grail references
...and seriously HOW THE FUCK COULD I BASTARDIZE CLINT EASTWOODS LINE? HOW HOW HOW?!...And how could he kill Mary Poppins thats not right!

I remember really wanting to see this movie when I was seven. I got the Happy Meal toys and everything.
This film was my first disappointment.
In fact, last year, I tried to muddle up some kind of nostalgia from it by rewatching it. Did nothing. D:
Thank you so much for reviewing this, Nostalgia Critic! This was an amazing review, as usual!
Man, I thought those songs were random, too. D:
