The guy's Alan Rickman, and yes, he can sing. He sang a few years ago in a movie called Rasputin. The guy's an inspiration for every actor-to-be. Plus, I don't know why, but, even though I'm straight, he's the only guy I've ever found sexy.Can't explain why.If I could look like any man,I'd say, to hell with Pitt, with Connery,I want to look like Rickman.

Oh, I totally agree, this is one of my favorite Top 11 lists. (it's tied with the Top 11 Drug PSAs) Looking at Hellfire... When you're a kid, you don't get any of the more adult references in a lot of movies. When I was a kid, I thought Frodo wanted Esmerelda dead because he thought she was a sinner and that he thought he could change her by marrying her. So yeah.

I also watched Quest for Camelot for the villain, but looking at it now, I somewhat regret it. Also, the songs were absolutely stupid.

Number 10 was my absolute favorite song when I was a kid because Muppet Treasure Island was my absolute favorite childhood movie. I highly recommend watching it, if only to see Tim Curry as a pirate. Oh, the nostalgia... Great video as always by the way. :D

This was an almost unexpected list,as I didn't know you love Chicago,or that song in particular, though I was kind of expecting the Gaston/Mob song from Beauty and the Beast on the list

Yup, Jim Cummings did sing "In the Dark of the Night". Interestingly, he also sang the last part of "Be Prepared". Jeremy Irons had trouble singing, so Cummings took over. If you listen to the song closely, you can hear the difference.

You can definitely hear it in "Be Prepared" in the phrase "coup of the century". That's always been my favorite part of that song.

N.C., in regards to "Quest for Camelot", break out the bourbon like you did for "Howard the Duck". It's that painful.

Not only was Jim Cummings the singing voice of Rasputin, he was also the singing voice of Scar for the end of "Be Prepared." Irons blew out his vocal cords on "YOU WON'T GET A SNIFF WITHOUT ME."

You know, the Lion King is my absolute favorite movie - I've watched it hundreds of times, at least - and "Be Prepared" is my favorite song so I rewind it and usually listen to it about four times just because of the Awesome so that's a lot more watches for that song alone. I have yet to hear the difference between Jeremy Irons's and Jim Cummings's voices. I know the story, I know the exact spot to start listening for it, I listen for it with an active ear and I still, to this day, can't hear it. I don't know if it's because the "style" of the song goes from that sing-song style of the first verses to the extreme ending so it's hard to compare the two, or what.

I can sort of hear it, but overall it's a pretty seamless transition. Cummings is good at imitating other actor' voices.

I think "Professional Pirate" is more the official villain song of Muppet Treasure Island. It's also good, but it definitely has a different tone from the opening song.

AWESOME list! And THANK YOU for putting 'Sweet Transvestite" up there. I'm a Rocky Horror fanatic, so you really brightened my mood. And the Shadow Man's song will hopefully go on to terrify a new generation of children. I also loved 'Shiver Me Timbers;' my youngest sister rented it when she was 4 and I remember being shocked at the end where Captain Flint promptly rewarded his crew... by killing them.
Again, great list and if Quest for Camelot goes badly, you can always let the villains in this list torture it.
