I seriously wouldn't be surprised if more then half the people that gave it thumbs down didn't even bother to look at the comment. For some strange sad reason a chunk of the people who frequent this site get jealous over not being the first poster. The worst part is that if those people who get badly bent out of shape over something so trivial, just imagine how bad they get things that are truly important.
As for the list I agree with the majority of picks. It's been a few years since it's release, but I remember hearing a lot of negative word of mouth for "The Nativity Story". The common complaint seemed to always be that it was just extremely slow/boring, even though the performances were above par.
I did enjoy seeing Polar Express in Imax 3D as well. Yes some of that CG was rather creepy. I really think it was because of character's eyes. The Imax screen being huge really magnified them, and made them look rather lifeless similar to shark eyes. On a side note, is it me or does it look like the train conductor at around 5: 04 -:10 is sniffing his fingers? I don't even wanna know what he was doing with them on a train filled with young children. That scene just looks rather strange out of context.

That was awesome. Die Hard as #1 was just a brilliant choice.
It's funny cause I heard some guys on the radio the other day get into an argument about favorite Christmas movies and one of em choose Die Hard and the other guy is all "But it's not a Christmas movie!"
So to quote Doug, F You It's Die Hard!
And I have to commend Doug for the great running gag that last few shows about denying that the Star Wars Holiday Special exists, leading to the great ending to this video.
I can't wait for next week's episode!

Why would you get annoyed that someone likes a film you don't? Aren't you then just as blinkered as those you hate who 'go along with the norm'?
Or are people only allowed to have their own opinions of what's good so long as they're the same as yours?
We have a word for people that think like you.......douchebags!!!
"I naturally go against the mob most of the time" Well aren't you a rebel without a fucking clue!!

I really need to start keeping track of the schedule, normally I prefer being surprised by the videos posted. Don't get me wrong this is a quality NC video, but I was dying to see the Star Wars holiday episode today. Regardless I would rather Doug takes the time he needs before releasing a video. This next week is going to be painful with anxiety! :)

Ah, Elf. Back in the good old days when Will Ferrel actually had talent. Sadly except for Stranger than Fiction, just about everything he's been in the last few years has completely blown.
Wasn't Blackadder supposed to be re-released on DVD soon? I really want to pick that up. I'll also make sure to check out Joyeux Noel, assuming I can find it.
And if you've seen my other comments on this site, I think I've made it perfectly clear on how enjoyable I find Die Hard 1 to be.
