Don't get me wrong I love Doug's stuff as well but this redundant ass kissing on everything he posts is starting to wear thin. Some of these comments are the text appropriations of lining up to give a blow job(Sorry it's late and I can not think of a more "sanitary" metaphor.)I can't read more then a few without feeling like I accidentally stumbled across a "Twilight" forum. For god's sake atleast watch the video before dropping to your knees.
I mean look if you legitimately love one of his reviews as your favorite that is fine. It's just a bit ridiculous seeing(please don't take this as me pointing finger, I am just generalizing)basically just "BEST REVIEW EVER!" over, and over again from the same people it is quickly becoming rather tedious.
Very well done tribute, and I have to admit it certainly did the duo justice. While I hav never always agreed with their opinions (*cough* Catwoman *cough*), I was always able to take them seriously.
P.S. On a side note, with all respect due to Gene Siskel(RIP), Doug you have nothing to worry about in the hair department man.I would have to say you still have at the very least a couple decades before you reach that point. However, I do have to agree that your hair did look a bit goofy in that picture. Though I think that has more to do with the fact that I am always expecting you to be in a hat, and have a goatee.

If you actually took the time to watch the video, you'd see that it was a tribute.
Now that's out of the way, nice tribute, Nostalgia Critic! I was familiar with Ebert & Roper growing up but not with Siskel & Ebert. It was nice to learn about him. Too bad he died. :(
Anyway, I'm looking forward to your next vid!

I remember seeing their review of the re-releases of the Star Wars Trilogy, Siskel seemed really interested in the prequels, I'd have to watch it again to be sure, too bad he didn't live long enough to see Episode I, I would have loved to see him review that, even if he hated it, which he probably would have, infact that would have been funnier, either way, RIP Gene Siskel.

I do say I like a good tragedy, however from what I've seen here we have lost two icons of movie critiquing to the inability to express themselves. Mr. Siskel we hardly knew thee, with the exception on Mr. Ebert which although can't speak express the truth about the Nostalgia Critic's movies, they suck. (just kidding, they're hilarious)
Ha, ha, testicular cancer.

Let's face it, these were the critics we grew up with and they really knew their shit. Even though I totally disagree with them at times, they still came from an honest place and that is all you can really ask of a critic.
I watched Ebert and Roeper but totally lost interest when Roeper left. Lyons and Mankiewicz just lacked something; they seemed too manufactured.
BTW, it was a little shocking to see them cuss each other out. And what is their deal with Protestants???!!! DAMN
That "you don't suck" bit was funny, too.
I liked how much of a trooper you were regarding your hair. B) Also, keep that venom geared at AVGN. You shine brightest that way.

To be fair, a better autograph would be one from Jesus.
Can you imagine getting Jesus' autograph?
Now that I think about it, I'd like to see the critic review "The Thing."
Yes, that has a strong connection to Jesus.
Besides, the review would be littered with "I was frozen today!" clips. It'd be funnier than a midget being taken to Llama land by a troup of Super-hamsters.
As for the tribute - awesome. That's all I can say. I've never seen Siskel and Ebert... probably because they weren't broadcast in the UK, or I was too young and immature to appreciate them at the time. But in any case, this helped me understand the power they held over influencing many minds, young and old.
