Now even though you two may not consider Superman III to be as bad, the benefit the one only benefit Superman IV has is that it least it's a story with superman against a generic bad guy.

Superman III Is literally like the creators were making the movie as an entire joke with no consistent story whatsoever. The fact that it's supposed to be a Superman movie and we barely see any of him just to make room for more uncomfortably unfunny scenes with Richard Pryor is just one big insult to the character.

So I ask especially you Doug to Please, Please review Superman III, At least sometime in the future.

Dude, if you look at interviews with the people who made Superman Returns, they totally agree w/ you:

The director AND producer said that they didn't recognize the third and forth movies as part of the franchise and that SR is a sequel to Superman II, which explains some things.

For instance, the kid, Jason, is five years old-ish, Superman left five years ago, and the little adventure in the Artic was just before he left. Lois doesn't remember doing the nasty with the man-o-steel 'cause of the memory wipe kiss, started dating whats-his-face soon after Supes left and assumes that the kid is her new boyfriends. Why she would go that deep into a relationship that quickly, I have no idea, but hey, it's a Superman movie, you can't really expect much better.

And if Doug reviewed SM III, I would love him even more then I do now. I do however, have one question; why the hell would Lex Luthor make a wing that makes him look like he's balding, when, in fact, he is already bald? WHY?!?!?!?

Oh, and, one more thing; if you look at SM III, the infamous flying towards the camera shot is at the end, so when they made this movie, they were too lazy to even get their own initial shot!!!

I agree with both Linkara and Doug because how the hell does Luthor cut Supermans hair? It would make sense if the clippers were made out of kryptonite though far fetched but i mean how do you do that?!?!?!? Also how did they get Supermans hair in first place?

If you look closely at the floor under the weight as Lex cuts the hair, the hole in forms like two seconds before the weight drops.
