11.19.2010 - 01:01 | DeltoraI do like this series, but what accent is that supposed to be? So far I've heard Irish, Scottish, European and even Chinese with the replacement of 'r's with 'l's.
Pirates came from alot of different places, but the typical 'yo ho, yo ho, a pirates life for me' kind of accent is a variant of a British accent.
Which apparently you can't do as the Pixel Palace proves.
I'm pretty good with accents, I wish I could show you how to do it right.
Although I've noticed if you make an American do an Australian accent it sounds cockney more often than not. Maybe try that.

Your methods are wonderful, but when it comes to parrots, I trust LeChuck from Monkey Island. My audio books on parrot have done me well. And I wisely kept all 12 parrots, so LeChuck let me live.

11.19.2010 - 05:05 | spade75a sweet pirate game was "rattle me bones". did you know pirates had a patch over their eye so they could see below deck without their eyes needing to adjust to the darkness. i don't think it was because the eye was missing. but who knows??? oh and i think pirates prefer to drink straight out of the bottle. but only when they misplace their fine china set.
