 ENOUGH! I am tired of HP...move on people...wait this is the last one...ok

Edit: Another one? When will you learn the Book will always be better then the movie, ugh.

  • Cornwind Evilman

Uh, no, actually, there's one more book. And the book was so big, it had to be split into two films. So...yeah, still two more films to go.

  • ultrassjstuart
    avatar

Actually, the Deathly hallows was one of the shorter novels of the series in terms of length, they simply split it up to prolongue the run of the series slightly and try and squeeze some more box office revenue out of it

    :eyebrow:
No...The plot line is so complex and to make it all make sense, considering they left so much out in previous films, they needed to break it up into two films so idiots who didn't read the books can understand what the hell is going on.

    Duh.

  • drumlip

I disagree. Hallows was so long and had so little that could be cut that splitting it into two movies was really the best decision.

the seventh movie those kids are gonna be fighting arthritis.

  • rattlehead91
    avatar

Why was this downvoted? Are you people really that hardcore of HP fanboys?

  • bladebane765  - How?
    avatar

Umm okay what makes you think that 17-18 year olds are gonna get arthritis within a year, did you even read the books let alone watch the movie
If not why are you making this stupid joke if it does not make any sense.

Okay small child with no skills in punctuation, he was trying to make a witticism because the actors are basically aging past the point where they can be considered children, let alone teenagers. Grow a funnybone.

HAH so true actually...those kids have been in this franchise for more than 10 years. That's just insane.

two more movies are coming because they didn't want to leave anything out of the
    Deathly Hallows

  • Alial93

Im with you man, the book is a houndred times better than the movies.
That's what happened to Twilight the saga

  • blacktrojan3921
    avatar

Actually the Twilight Saga was ruined from the start when it was made o:. (No offense of course).

But I get what you mean, it's always a big risk with the fandom when a book you love goes onto the big screen, especially when it's a very popular book that's part of a series, that's what happened with Eragon, The Golden Compass, and possibly many others.

I liked the books but the movie was Awful with a capital A-W-F-U-L. It missed tons and was the color of Seattle on a rainy day Even when it was SUNNY. The acting was bad. My favorite was ALice and I don't think she even had a speaking part. I hope they can at least get the Wolves right.. But probably not...

  • dethf_ck
    avatar

Seriously? This has got to be the latest bitching I've ever seen. You should've started when they made the first movie. What? You expect them to stop in the middle of a series?

There's 2 movies left. They didn't want to leave anything out of the last book. So quit your bitching and don't watch the movies, shit.

...wow, the LAST thing I expected was a Red Dwarf reference in a Bum Review!

    Well played, Bum...

I agree. That was seriously cool, although I'm pretty sure that Harry Potter's Luck potion wasn't developed by Dr. Langstrom, still though, very cool reference.

This movie was full of angsty teenagers, and if theres one thing I hate, its angsty teenagers.

Edit: I did enjoy the movie though, just joking with you, although they were a bit angsty at times.

Huge, HUGE props for the Red Dwarf reference. The luck virus might be my favorite piece of deus ex machina in all of sci-fi.

Nice to see another classic Bum Review. Hilarious stuff once again Chester and you're not the only one who enjoys British science fiction.

Regarding Half-Blood Prince, it was my least favorite of the books, but I will say that overall it was a pretty good movie. Lavender and Ginny were two characters that I could have done without and the romance aspect was as cliche and pointless as it was in the book. The kick-ass beginning and ending more than made up for it. The acting was also pretty good.

  • der_ketzer

I didn't expect much because they ruined the fift part but it still got worse.

Same, wow. Doug you were already high in my books, but youve just left the book entirely!

  • Chenari  - Dumbledoofus. I like that.

So, Prince is a Vampire Chihuahua... I can see that, actually. XD

  • dirk123
    avatar

The last one is split in two movies for two reasons.

    1. There is so many important stuff to the plot going on, that nothing can be skipped, compared to the previous books.

    2. They want to milk it while they still can.

It only bothers me that the ending of the book which I will not spoil didn't happen.

Seriously, I thought this movie was average at best. I like the books, the movies can be good in some cases, but this one just felt like a link to the next movies. I really don't know if it is worth seeing. But I'm not going to change your opinion. Let me just say it did improve upon the characters. Malfoy was great.

I really hope they don't screw up the next movies. D:

Yes, but look at all the movies and then the books. Many scenes were cut out of each. However, the seventh book is written in such a way that there is literally almost no scene you can cut out or shorten, since they are all so important. It's not the length, it's the content.
