"Actually good" is better than the reviews I've seen where the reviewers talk about splooging in their seats because they've never liked Star Trek before this movie... so where does that leave the rest of us who do like Star Trek? People are all of a sudden acting like the older movies were bad, when at least half of them were pretty damn good stories.

I think this new movie just gave people an excuse to actually let their inner nerd enjoy the series.

This looked good in previews. I am not a fan of the show, I tried but at this point there is just too much backstory to keep a new fan interested. Zoe Saldana is so pretty, she is really reaching out to another fan base with this one. I know I will like the visuals in this one.
