I loved how you start and keep saying that Citizen Kane is a crappy movie but by your own words you say it's a good movie although you admit that it's very complicated but that is what it makes it a great movie. It's like the reverse of your usual reviews when you start saying that the movie is great but you realize is crappy but this time you kept saying it's crappy but you learned allot.

When I see movies like "lady of the water" and "free wither" be considered like dumb ass shiting movie and no like the damm good movie they are, I'm agreed and sad with that idea.

And I simply have to reply to one of the comments above. "Lady in the water" good? Seriously? I hope that was being sarcastic..
"Hey, I'll film a story where I write a book which saves the world. And which is called 'Cookbook'. And a fairy will come out of the water and superintendent will take care of her and it will all be based on an old Chinese folk tale. And some wolves will attack the fairy. Oh, and the wolves will be made of grass! And will be called scrunts! And I need monkeys in my movie! Three-headed monkeys! Called tartutics! And mustard! I need mustard! Big mustard-coated giant eagles flying through jelly donuts with disembodied heads of captain Pickard floating against a beautiful teal background... damn, the drugs are wearing off. Honey? One more LSD please.."

I saw the movie he reviewed for once! And it was great, haha. Loved how he's angry at the movie, saying it's pretencious and such. I really laught when he said that Speed Racer was way better. :D

I always wanted to see Chester do a movie that has been around for a long time (Like he did with "Follow That Bird"), and I hope he gets to do more Older films "as time goes by"...speaking of which, "Casablanca" should be done sometime soon.
The one thing I think you should add are some visuals, (Once again, like he did with "Follow That Bird") Somehow I think the idea of showing things that are sped up while Chester describes them is Hilarious! Think about it...
P.S. You're not the only one who thinks CK is pretentious.

02.12.2009 - 21:08 | Third3yeAcid? I believe it's called crack and it does wonderful things to your mind. You start hating Citizen Kane, you start loving Keanu Reeves movies (except for Johnny Mnemonic and A Scanner Darkley), you also watch "Lost" and "American Idol" frequently, while enjoying a nice cup'o'Starbucks.
Wait a minute...
OMG! If you do the math...
AAAAAH!! EVERYONES ON CRACK!
AAAAAAAAAAHEspecially Joel Schumacher...

You know what's sad? I haven't watched Citizen Kane yet. I should not be allowed to say I'm a fan of cinema.
And I'm liking how this is the only way you can praise a film, That Guy! Good vid.
-
It really bothers me when this guy is depicted as a raving lunatic yet I somehow agree with every word he says. Then there's always that disheartening moment when the "Seriously" disclaimer comes up at the end to remind me that Chester's views are only lies.
I'll just continue viewing these from the other side of the fence, under the illusion that Chester and I are the only normal people and everyone else is psychologically insane. Go Speed Racer! :D
(Seriously, though, Citizen Kane wasn't too bad either.)

02.13.2009 - 00:13 | HugeNCfan93I've been waiting for Chester to say "Oh my god, this is the worst film I've ever seen in my life!" for quite a while, but I never expected him to say it about Citizen Kane. Though it makes perfect sense; he says Speed Racer and Twilight are great, but he says Citizen Kane is awful. It's like he had his head on backwards.:D Great review!
