Good Bum review.
But New Blip Player is annoying as Hell! Here you've got two videos and it loads automaticly another on the upper window while I try to play and listen to the lower one.
Oh, and it's somehow slow as granny. My (I admit, quite old) computer can't render HD on full screen while it isn't a problem with older player.
DAMN! Why did they do this?

I don't like the Paranormal Activity films. Not scary at all. Movies are not real! The Walking Dead is more realistic and scary!
Remembering The Amityville Horror (1979) is more scary.

It's 11:30 PM. You're home alone, because you live alone, and you're gonna be home alone for the next few months. And then, you hear footsteps in the hallway. No one's there. You hear a thump in the attic. Once again, no one's there. It could be the house settling. It could be a rat knocking something over. It could be anything, but you'll never know what. And it happens constantly and consistently. Disembodied footsteps, repeated thumps and noises, all with merely tentative explanations.
That is the atmosphere movies like Paranormal Activity (the first two, anyway; the third was content to be more intense but as subtle as Wagner) strive for. And, to me, it's the best kind of horror film--the kind that utilizes subtlety rather than mindless gore or stupid-looking zombies or aliens, the kind that crawls under your skin and haunts you long after you see it.

Instead, we get generic horror movie direction, multitudes of jump-scares, and reprehensibly stupid characters. "Oh God, my dad is being slammed around by an evil entity and is dying right in front of me! I'D BETTER HOLD ONTO MY CAMERA AND CATCH IT ALL ON FILM!!"

On The Series:
1 - Creative movie and probably the best out of the series.
2 - Interesting new direction, not nearly as original as the first but still worth watching.
3 - Just as good as 2 if not a bit better.
...4...wow... just wow, really HATED this one. Characters dumb, no reason that it is found footage, laptops cannot record for 2 weeks straight, illogical (girl turning laptop towards demon, using Camera while people are dying)and way too much product placement; I'm looking at you Apple and Xbox.
I say don't waste your money, especially when Sinister is still in theaters. (While certainly not perfect it is much more "scary" than Paranormal Activity 4)
Easily the worst of the bunch
