You know, for a character that was supposed to sound like the voice you did in the Cloverfield review... he doesn't sound like that anymore. I prefer the old bum, not this new one.
Also in regards to the end ("seriously though"), where is the righteous indignation about this movie not having a point or direction other than a series of stupid sketches?! If they did Wayne's World 3 this way you'd crucify it. I mean, you can watch this crap on tv and the internet for free, what's the point paying $12 to see it in the theater?

Funny stuff Doug. Your comments on the 3D and 4D made me both cringe and choke on laughter. Also the comment about a sad empty void...poor Chester.
I think your "seriously though" comment at the end actually works well for this movie. People know the concept of Jackass. If they like that stuff, this movie will be glorious for them. If they don't they will avoid seeing the movie, but will bitch about it anyway. Jackass is not high class entertainment. It's not going to be a movie with a complex plot or a ton of character development. It's just what its always been.

Right. Jackass is Jackass. I used to watch the show all the time, but I've never went to see it in theaters.
A lot of folks don't seem to get the concept of "Jackass." It's not meant to be anything deeper than a bunch of dudes doin dumb shit. I mean, like it was mentioned before, if it's not what you like, don't worry about it. They'll make money some way or another. That's how they got that 3D camera. Those things are expensive. X_X

I agree. People have different tastes and humor is a subjective concept. Plus, he still prefers good movies so it balances him out. In other words, he isn't pretentious but he isn't shallow either.
I don't have a problem with it, and I don't like Jackass.
