no. this movie SUCKS ass. predictable-as-hell story, bad effects, TERRIBLE makeup on the wolfman, stupid characters, substituting actual horror with fucking jump-scares, and a career worst performance from anthony hopkins.

Well, it isn't meant to be a 'new' plot, is it? It's a remake of an old movie. And as the Wolfman (original) sort of started all the tropes of werewolf stories, it can sort of be forgiven for any clichés. Whether it will be good or not is still up for debate, though.

It was a classic that didn't really need a remake so much as a modern, or maybe even futuristic, interpretation. Overall, it was okay, but unnecessary.

[color=green]The offscreen lighting was a bit distracting, and didn't seem to add anything bum-ish to the review. If this was simply an experiment, I wouldn't advise using it again; the original background and lighting work perfectly.
Nitpicking aside though, thanks for making me laugh Chester. I had just intended to pass this film off as another monster movie, but I'm now having second thoughts. But then again, why pay $8 for the whole film when you can have an awesome bum review for free?![/color]

I'm not sure about the movie though. It looks interesting, but the plot doesn't sound like anything new.
I fear for whatever you did to that bag of cheetoes.
