yeah, why are there always different zombie speeds?? but nevertheless, great movie and great review...

It's because of the makeup

You see, back in the old George Romero movies the makeup was not like it is today. As such, zombies had to limp and stumble everywhere, because if they moved around too quickly, the makeup would fall off So it was all to preserve the illusion that they had to walk slowly. It just caught on. Now recently with the CG and the improved makeup-artistry, we get these quick zombies. I'd say its because someone argued that a corpse would not be hindered by musclecramps and loose its breath, but I don't know.

that is correct but there is anther reason. producers thought that zombies went scary just limping around, so they made em fast so they can be more scary.

its like adventureland...with zombies....even with the same actor...totally amazing. You can tell they'll make more rip offs wih the same actors, like Dinosaurland, EvilRobotLand, AlienLand, CondomLand, PornLand (sequel to condomland), and fluffybunnyland

Good thing I already saw the movie-although I didn't really expect whom the celebrity cameo turned out to be-mainly because he isn't really that closely associated with Zombie movies, but then again that makes it even stronger still. Although I suppose he does have an association with a horror/comedy so it isn't completely unrelated. And that horror/comedy, my friends...is Garfield.

Four survivors, fast zombies, the zombies are alert to lights and sounds... Yup, sounds like Left 4 Dead to me.

When they did ZombieLand, they basically combined Left 4 Dead and Deadrising and the people who said that basically came out with that combination aloud
