Hydroglyps are created through the use of oilbased paints. With special techniques you can use water to create the symbols. Once dryed, you don't need to soak them in water again to read them. Didn't That Guy just explain all this?
(And I mentioned this in the comments of the previous episode, as well) smilies/wink.gif

By the way, such absurd notions still exist in old Amsterdam too! I should know, I live in Amsterdam! smilies/cheesy.gif
