In case of Dracula, the notion is somewhat distressing. The 90% water water wine is the most watery, and that's just if people are entirely wine, so actually the wine in people is probably weakend by the rest of the water in the human body. Also, he goes after virgins, who likely have the lowest alcohol percentage in their bodies. Can't he hold his liqour? Even wine?
