I don't think you know the definition.
They're ponies that have human traits and characteristics. Sure, they don't walk on two legs, but they don't have to in order to qualify.
That said.. being a fan of MLP does not qualify for being a furry. Same goes for Looney Tunes, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, TMNT, etc etc etc

Ask That Guy: Instead of Optimus Prime feeding Godzilla Michel Bays, have Megatron feed him all the superheroes. That way, Godzilla will become the ultimate Ultrahero, and rule the universe with laws permitting rape, murder, slavery, and Rebecca Black/Justin Bieber hybrids starring in Twilight movies. To top it off, Megatron would have to give Godzilla a Voltrongina dressed as a furry. Yes.
