Guess what? Apparently this video, with super high sound and bass, along with fullscreen mode, is NOT as romantic as you made it out to be. That doesn't mean it wasn't absolutely hilarious. 9/10

It looks too dark and plain, when the play was a nice disturbing mix of whimsy and macabre.

man sweeny todd is about more than sliting throats and gushing blood, its a love story and a story of dark revenge, and not to mention its fuckin kick ass!!!

This statement is pretty hilarious without it's qualifiers.
Also, the 'musical' aspect is kind of absent from the summary, but it's still funny.

my friend didn't know that it was a musical when he went to see it, he just saw all the cutting in the trailer and went... walked out of the theater about 5 min in.
the "romantic" bit was ok but i mean really. give the music credit. should've played the song that "borat" sings while he shaves while johnny depp was slitting everyone's throat.
that's just one theater buffs opinion (i'm sorry but to ignore the musical aspect of a movie and have a musical lover watch this... it gets some temper issues lol)
