This is the most accurate representation of the film I've ever seen. I just hope the "complete" version that gets released on blu-ray is better.

Pretty accurate. I still like the movie, though. Not because of the storyline but because of how well it looks. I look at it as more of a display of the technology at the time. I can see why people would hate it, however.

hmmm, i have to agree with this one, the english one sounds whiny as hell, but i don't think i've actually heard an angsty whiny japanese voice before...and i've been to japan. so sub, dont dub. the movie is itself overrated but pretty, and that was quite a good take on the film itself

Yep. That's the movie in a nutshell. At least it was a pretty train wreck. And the characters weren't buried somewhere at the bottom of the Uncanny Valley like the ones from Spirits Within.
