Awesome revie, Aussie. Could you review No More Heroes?
And I have many characters I'd like to see in Brawl. Here's the list:
Eggman, Megaman, Simon Belmont, Andross (at least as a bosss), Gray Fox, Ryu (Street Fighter), Ryu Hyabusa (Ninja Gaiden), Conker, Scorpion, Baby Moses from Bible Adventures (kidding), and Dante.

Mellx93, what do you consider the bad points? Because from the way I see it, the bad points that people point out are purely subjective.. things like "you can't wave dash" or "The gameplay is too slow". I feel like those sorts of things stem from comparing it to previous games and isn't really all that fare... As a game on it's own I liked it a lot.
The only flaw I've noticed so far (mind you, I don't own it) is that the final smash feature can tend to get really annoying after people start to get them a lot.
At any rate, great review as always, Aussie... The quality is just getting better and better :3
I'd like to see Pac man in for some reason... don't ask me why, I think it sounds like an amusing idea! THINK OF IT.... Final Smash = Super Pac Man! being chased by ghosts!!

i was thinking masterchief would be cool to see but other then that i cant think of anyone off hand that would be appropriate seeing as theres no set main character for the call of duty series though you could argue soap for 4 and niko from gta would be out of place. also Fox is my all time super smash brothers fighter. weather its the original melee (my personal fav) or even brawl (haven't got to play it a lot yet buthave no intention of buying a wii so melee stays king) fox is the best hands down, even that fucked up tiers system ranked him as number one, also falco and wolf are cheap blatant fox rip offs, alco for sure in melee and wolf was just a cry of desperation in brawl. FOX FOREVER!!

i dont have a wii yet and have drifted away from the games, although i do really wanna get into this and other nintendo games of this decade. is mega man on the brawl? if he is, i dont remember anyone making a fuss over it. if he's not, he should definately be in the next game. also, they should have some characters from popular fighting games in next game, that could be interesting. along with being able to create yourself. i'd love to kick bowzer's ass, or see if im better than mario. would be interesting.

Pretty good review. Brawl is probably my favorite Wii game to date. Before the release of the game, I spent alot of time getting involved in the hype (guessing which characters would be in it mostly). My most wanted character slot was always a tie between Ridley from Metroid (who became a boss) and Isaac from Golden Sun (who became an Assist Trophy). I just always wanted to see them playable.

Not a fanboy, in fact I havent played any of them yet however I am certain nintendo knows how to make a good entertaining game and to make it perfect. Their game programmers in my opinion can compare to Blizzard for PC for in dept details.

as for the question I think it would be great if they would add megaman, or Ryu from Street Fighter. The one thing I hated with the game is that there was all this hype about Snake being in the game, but he is basically the worst character in the game, WTF?!!!

add some street fighter charaters, and Dante from devil may cry, and a ghostbuster (cause they are going on the wii in 09) but i know tey will add mega man (gay [really too easy be more creative]) ryu maybe ken, and an obscure one would be donald duck as mouwi malaird (spelling) from the greatest SNES game COLD SHADOW. (look up this game seriously it was the best game ever made but know one knows about it shame) but the best one would be Dante, but he is capcom so is ryu and they suck, maybe a zombie from Resident evil or Leon would be nice.

I was shocked. Not a single 10. That means our resident reviewer is hard to impress, and I like that. Keep up the fantastic work my fine friend from down under.
As for who I'd like to see... Banjo & Kazooie, or I guess for character picking purposes just Banjo. I guess the ship has sailed with Rare on the X-Box, but at the time this would have been the penultimate pick. Easily made too. Spits eggs, does the wingflap, maybe shoot some clock work eggs that run around like ba-bombs or the like. Final Smash could use Grenade Eggs or perhaps some Mumbo Magick of some kind. This pick always felt right, but I guess we won't see that now. Sigh.

Although Link is my all time favorite character, along side him (ever since the MELEE days) i was always wanted Geno (Mario RPG) to be in the smash series. Geno is a very unique character with a lot of respect from gamers everywhere who has played Mario RPG (who hasn't?)Throughout brawls time and time again delays, i was sure that they were going to add him and add a bunch of new features. However, they didn't and this sparked off lots of youtube videos and gamer commentary about "For Geno" for the next smash bros game. Which probably won't even be for years to come.

I totally want to see a few characters. Sabin from FF6 would be pretty friggin awesome. They put Jeff in as an assist trophy which will do for him. I would also wanna see Ed from full metal alchemist. While he was from a manga first he's been in quite a few games. I think he would make an interesting character.

Great review. It really does have a lot of details, i dont know why you did not comment on there being 500 fully 3D trophies to unlock, 700 stickers with images of Nintendo characters and a lot of references, and last but not least the soundtrack which features 258 songs, including ochestred versions of Nintendos classic soundtrack and a lot of original compositions too. This game has so many unlockables that you can keep playing it for several month without getting it all.
Who i would like to see in the next Smash Bros... Prolly Megaman would be my greatest request. It would be cool if he was a bit like Kirby, i mean being able to use the other characters powers.

I have the game since day one and I think while this game is great, it's more a multiplayer game than single player.
pro: graphic, gameplay, music, multiplayer, replay value, lots of stuff to unlock and of course.... nostalgia!
con: it's basically the extras.....create a level is really poor, subspace emissary gets boring really fast and is also too repetitive, the masterpiece games included just aren't worth it, same goes for that shooting game. Also playing this game in singleplayer gets boring after maybe one week or two.
I really liked your review by the way my character would be Axel from Streets of Rage.

Perhaps a very unlikely choice, but considering he's starring in nearly as many games as Mario and starred in two fighter games with rules similar to Super Smash Bros., it's not a bad sugguestion:
Character: Naruto Uzumaki Game series: Oh christ... Tehniques:- Basic special: Kunai/Shuriken (can be pressed consistantly for consistant throwing or in quick succession to throw three projectiles at once) Forward Special: Rasengan (charged attack that can send an enemy flying a considerable distance at full limit) Up special: Shadow Clone Jutsu (Can be used in three ways: 1. So yeah...I'm gonna "request", even though it's never gonna be on the next SSB, a character from another platform, PS2, to be more exact. Nobody knows about him but he's BADASS! His name's Azure Flame Kite from a game called ".hack//G.U" . He's one of the coolest character I've ever, EVER seen.
I also think a character from Tales of Symphonia like Lloyd would be nice. It was such a huge hit that I don't see why they should put Pit or, hell, Deedeedee if they don't put Lloyd.

Some people believe that Snake sucks in brawl. But, I believe that its not the character that sucks its the player. I'm actuality quite good with snake, and he really unique from the other player.
Players i would like to see in the next ssb
mega man x or original zero from mega man x bomerman Chrono from chrono trigger knuckles majoras mask (trophy player thing) or ryu from ninja giaden

My most wanted character would definitely have to be Spike from Ape Escape. Not only is he just plain awesome, but the gadgets from the Ape Escape series would give a nice variety of moves.
Course it'll never happen in a million years. XP

Well, if I had to pick a character from the Nintendo universe, I'd personally like to see Krystal from Starfox: Dinosaur Planet. With her staff and its various abilities, she'd make a pretty unique character. If I had to pick a character from any other universe, I'm torn between Zero and Megaman X. Zero's beam sword fighting style would make a really interesting combatant and with Megaman.... well, you can never have too many guns.

megaman. nintendo was B.S.ing us.there was no reason he could not be in brawl.he's been on almost every nintendo console.and all his series started on a nintendo console. if he is not in the next one then i'm not playing it.

Megaman, second only to Sonic in requests for Brawl.
Slippy Toad from Star Fox. Not that anyone would ever play as him, but so I could go into Brawl Mode, set up against 3 level 1 Slippys, and beat the everloving snot out of them. I could do that for HOURS.
It would never happen because they can't get the rights but...Master Chief. Oh hell yeah.

Anyways, my list would be Simon, Megaman, Arthur (ghosts n' goblins,) viewtiful joe, animal crosser, chrono, and maybe some final fantasy characters from 1-6. BUT NOT CLOUD!!! OR SQUALL! Or Tidus, or whatever. That's unrealistic 
Although, Idk how you would be able to draw the attacks on em... 0_o 
To answer your question: i wouldn't mind seeing more sonic charectures in the game such as Eggman or tails
