Gotye's popular now? But I liked him before he was cool...Bands need to have the first print of their vinyls marked with special "before they were cool" packaging so all the posers know.
You should review Gotye though. It can be as entertaining to hear someone laud a piece and why it's good as mock and complain.

05.09.2012 - 11:48 | littleliliyeah that was my reaction to Gotye, and well fun. too. Like I was sitting there listening to the radio then blinked a lot in confusion.
Then again I'm so used to it at this point, it's been a process I've had to go through for years.

05.09.2012 - 11:45 | littleliliShe's not wearing any make up? That's what I notice at least and it was really distracting. I'm not saying she's ugly or anything like that but simply when you're used to seeing someone that always has make up on without it they don't look like how they usually do. There is discoloration with her skin (that's normally not there) that foundation and concealer would have helped, and her eyebrows were not filled in.

05.08.2012 - 20:09 | darthjoeyThat was good. I especially liked how he acknowledged that we actually have decent music hitting the top of the charts. I blame Adele for that. Glee actually might also get some credit as Somebody I Used to Know and We are Young were covered on Glee before they really got big. Still not enough to salvage that show, though.

I was wondering lately if you 2 were gonna do another crossover, especially one on "From Justin to Kelly."
I've only seen a little bit of it, and it was during a musical number at the end, and it's also where I said to myself, "It's a f**kin' musical?"
5:49- Sprink Break with rules? Hold on, I'm gonna get my phone and call Bulls**t.
This film has no idea what a nerd is. Nowadays, we nerds are the new fiitbal jocks.
It's films like this that show why I don't see modern days musical films.
19:24- I'm sure people like Lupa and Phelous would be so happy to hear you say that.

. . . I guess I should be glad that I never heard of it or knew of it till now.
And Todd does that mean you won't ever review Glad You Came by The Wanted? B/c last time (I think like two weeks ago) their song became the number 1 song in the USA . . . Z100 said it, not me.

-
05.08.2012 - 22:00 | HyperiorLOL I hope Todd eventually does a crossover with Lupa XD
I liked the conversations between Todd and NC and knew this would be a good crossover but I barely payed attention to the review of the movie because the movie is just confusing and lame.

::Looks at title card:: Isn't Lindsay's hair black?
"You can either do a review with me, or it's back to dumpster diving at the local Arby's."
I associate beach dancing with the 60s.
But surely there's a Hindi dubb?
Callisto, Calypso, Kalima? Oh, I'm, thinking of Cali, not Kelly.
Something that has always bothered me:
*Bikini top & bikini bottom/speedo or swim trunks in public = Perfectly legal.
*Bra & panties/Manthong or boxers in public = Indecent exposure.
& yes, I've seen people walk home from the swimming pool & water park in their swimwear.

05.08.2012 - 22:09 | wwitzkeThank you very much for reviewing this. For years, I thought "From Justin to Kelly" was about a guy named Justin that had a sex change operation and then changed his name to Kelly. Now I know that, instead, it was just a horrible American Idol movie, and I didn't have to watch it myself to find out.
In retrospect, I suppose if I really wanted to know I could have looked it up, but I didn't.

-
05.08.2012 - 22:45 | Jeff JacobsonNice video.
I think what was intended was that "Kelly" was short for whatever it was that the guy said right before that line ("the girl from the beach" or whatever it was that he said.) The writers of the movie were attempting to tell a joke.

I wasn't going to comment on this video since watching Justin to Kelly will trigger horrific memories tied to a certain slumber party from nearly a decade ago, but I had to post this video.
Someone actually did a musical Hunger Games video. Literally. Ok, it was based off of one scene, but I wouldn't be surprised if the girls behind this video (or even the guys who did A Very Potter Musical) expanded on this idea:

Theres plenty of interesting material to cover when it comes to Gotye. Like, he's from Austrailia and.....umm.....he likes pizza (okay, don't know for sure about that one but hey who doesn't like pizza). Am I right?
