Maybe it's because I didn't see the others (I'm ASSUMING there were, in fact, a 1 and 2) but I didn't find it interesting enough to really sit through. The chicks who played Jade and Kitana were pretty hot though. :P

I love how you opted for the small apartment to save money for the ridiculous amount of electronics. In all honesty, I would do the same shit. You are in for hell when you have kids my man! Love the reviews, and yea your sister is extremely attractive.

Awesome work. You obviously put tons of effort in this and it definitely succeeded in keeping me entertained. I so have to start looking through the other Mortal Komedy episodes on YouTube. Hope to see more of that, as well as the reviews and whatever you may conjure up.

i really need to find the time to watch this... and the other mortal komedys. iv only seen around 5 minutes, but what i saw was pretty funny.
it seems the people that dont like him have finally realised to just not watch his videos!

I’m sorry Phelous , I can tell that you’re trying very hard. The costumes are great, the man power behind this project is great, and the references are amazingly numerous.
But it just doesn’t work. I think it’s just because everyone is trying to act and come off as ‘true’ to the character, as well as the whole concept being far too long. If this was shortened down to maybe 15 minutes it would have been very funny and entertaining. It just seemed like a chore watching all the cut and dialogue drag on (although it wasn’t bad editing or writing on your part!) I really don’t know what to say about the whole thing—It wasn’t really funny and succinct, but it did make an effort to please. It’s not a failure of imagination, so much as a failure to KISS (KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID). Sorry for the harsh criticisms you’ve receive from other users at TGWTG, including me, but sometimes things just don’t work out. :(

If you watch Mortal Komedy, you'd see that it is in the MK II time right now. The Lin Kuei haven't automated their ninjas yet. So I'd imagine that this is what Sektor looked like before automation.

Ak3000 hit this right on the head.
Cool ideas, but the mostly-useless, unfunny dialogue and combination of overand underactingreally made this a chore to watch.
I'm envious that Phelous could find that many people to work on the project with him, though. God knows I haven't been able to find anyone.
And yes, Kitana and Jade are hot, but this is a comedy video, not porn. How attractive the girls are shouldn't sway votes.

I'm also going to have to agree with Ak3000. Certainly a lot of work went into this, and it's admirable. However, a lot could be trimmed/edited to make for a better watching experience.

I was surprised at seeing this episode aired first before any of the older episodes. Mostly because nobody here would know any of the back story unless they were already fans. I agree with your criticism but I still love the Mortal Komedy series. It's not for those who hate watching videos longer than 15 minutes. And since the older episodes range from 20-30 minutes in length, their will be tons of hateful comments because of that.

Dude, seriously there's no need for that kind of crap. You've got to know that Admin Mike is going to be along to flame/ban your ass. I'll admit that Phelous isn't my style and I didn't make it past the five minute mark with this video but I'm not gonna tell the guy to get off the site or some stupid thing like that. I appreciate the effort that was put into making the vid and he obviously has a lot of fans but I'll just pass over his future videos that get posted.

You know what I would like to see, Phelan? I would love some sort of "Making of" kinda thing with Mortal Komedy...that would be really interesting to me, as a budding filmmaker myself. Anyway, I totally dig your humor and videos, keep it up!

Oh, god...
I saw a few episodes of [i]Mortal Komedy[/i] on YouTube, and I feel it needs to be cancelled. It's a horribly bland show; it feels like a project a bunch of high school kids would make based on something they saw on FanFiction.net. I'd expect kids 12-18 years old to be working on low-grade content like this, but the crew here is in their 20s. You guys seriously need to aim higher than this.
Please stick to movie reviews, Phelous. I've found those to be more entertaining.

I look forward to future efforts, though. If nothing else, the costumes and actors look great! The effects were also very, very nice!
