Turtles were part of my childhood days of growing up with cartoons. Everything related to TMNT was what I had enjoyed, but never knew there's a concert like this. Guess it didn't spread far enough to every TMNT fan across the globe. I'm sure the fans - grownups and kids - regretted to pay that garbage and, in a result, had stop the concert nightmare to tour anywhere.
That didn't stop the people to make a video about the concert. What did they expected in return from making this concert movie?

The green ghost has been appearing in Phelous' title cards for quite some time now. I can't recall him actually being in any of the movies reviewed. I think Andrew Dickman just wanted a mascot character to incorporate in them.
The Nostalgia Critic skull appeared in the Halloweenie shorts and, similarly, Dickman has been hiding it in the title cards because I assume he just really liked Halloweenie.

And why do the Turtles have mic stands if they're using headsets? The feedback would make everyone's ears bleed within a 3 mile radius! Or maybe that was the idea because of the horrible music . . .

Dollars to doughnuts the original footage, props, and costumes are all in the Indiana Jones warehouse. Or maybe even in the Ark of the Covenant.

Man, the Nostalgia Critic and Angry Nerd did not reveal any of this about the concert, but that was clearly for our own good.
I can't believe I was lucky enough to only grow up with the cartoon and the movie (the first one, not the sequels thankfully).

You said it bud. Critic and Nerd sure spared us any more torture this concert. And maybe not. But letting Phelous do this was a comedy gold idea. I laugh hard that I even never knew there was a concert about the TMNT. I knew the cartoon, the toys, the movies, but NOT this crap.
Time does fly by so fast yet so slow when we look back and see how did we ever get addicted to them in the first place.

The "Walk Straight" song always got me how they talk about not being afraid and going against the crowd but then they throw in "do what the turtles say!" out of the blue to counter-act the original intent of the song's message.
Also, its been a while, and I may have been out of the TMNT loop but I don't recall Leonardo ever calling April O'Neil "babe" maybe Michealango or Rapheal but certainly not Leonardo. He was pretty down-to-earth and respectful like that.

Phelous never pointed out some of the kids' expressions in the audience? You missed out on some good material for this review. Was never a fan of the turtles but this is horrid and intolerable for the older fans.

I use to have that VHS...so I know your pain. lol, but I guess it was stupidly funny and I enjoyed as a kid.
And the songs from the album were stupidly catchy and fun as well, haha.

See...the reference to "We're Turtles, remember!" was a "joke" tied to asking April to slow down.
Get it...Turtles....slow...se e.
Also in one episode Mikey turns to a human and looses all his "Turtle Powers"...the "You're ninjas!" shout was exactly how I reacted to that load, too.

This concert was a weird direction for the franchise, but I contend that the comic strip was even weirder.
Also, Shredder must have caused some deaths in the cartoons, off the top of my head I'm remembering that episode where he causes a perpetual winter by using Krang's device to drain energy from the sun, that would have killed hundreds at the very least, possibly millions, that's way more than this Rita Repulsa lookalike.
