Just when you thought that you got rid of the Boogeyman, he always comes back like a horror movie slasher.
I love it when you guys use an Irate Gamer refference. He diserves to be treated like this.
3:27- An thus, we have "Phalin Tries Asprin."
It's such a shame that we never hear a joke of The Boogeyman coming out of the closet, if you know what I mean.
Welcome to the show New Phelous, ...or Phelous D1, or ...neh, I'll think of it later.

Personally, I didn't like the gag about how Phelous would die EVERY time, but I did start to miss it. It's one of those things that's funnier to happen when you don't expect it, like they ultimately started to do with Kenny in South Park. It's much funnier when it hits you completely by surprise.
Either way, it was nice to see you're not going to completely lose the joke. And cat Phelous deserves to be the official Phelous from now on. His deadpan "Meow" was the best line ever delivered by anyone on this website.

Although I am probably one of the few minority that secretly enjoyed the gag about him dying every episode and was depressed when he put it on hiatus, I do understand why some people would get tired of it or not prefer it.
Something repetition can be a pain in the ass.
But I did miss those jokes, mostly because for me, the way he died was always relevant to the movie he reviewed and were different and unique each time. So some of the fun was wondering (like Kenny in South Park) how he was going to die this time around.
But I am really eager to see what will happen next with Phelous as a cat and Phelous D1 walking around again. And yes, I am sure this is going to lead to some awesome fanfics. Or at least, I hope they do. :) lol

^ Really, it seems like it should make him want to kill his mom LESS.
I liked these reviews BETTER when you reenacted movie scenes in a funnier sense more and when you didn't kill yourself with Dr.Mario vitamins (mirror Phillip swallowed it with the red side first, THAT'S why it worked!).
So, who else is looking forward to that review of Meow Mix? *raises hand*

Um... uh... did you actually listen to me about this movie or was this planned out from the start and I was going off unnecessarily? I need to know the answer, as I don't think I can cope with actually being acknowledged in this world.
Thoughts:
- The Woman in the Room: the epic space saga.
- Always make the judge happy.
- Huh... unimpressive Boogeyman movie after all. I'm starting to wish I hadn't said anything. But the original short story is still worth a look.
- Wow. Dead, regenerate, evil... and a cat.
Good review.

Am I only one who seems to get the vibe, that Phelous hates doing these reviews? And I don't mean the standard "Aaaargh, this movie is so bad I want to die" shtick. Maybe I just interpret it the wrong way but most of "meta" jokes and referencing audience expectations of review look to me like Phelous just wants to be somewhere else and never bother with this crap anymore.
But I guess he just would end the show if that was true. Still, it makes these moments kind of unpleasent to watch for me.

08.11.2011 - 02:00 | CPFaceNah, I'm sure it's just the character.
What I want to know -- since I rarely read the comments -- is how many people are actually still complaining about ditching the "Phelous dies" schtick. Enough to keep referencing it in the videos?
Whatever. Having a formula is fine. Breaking it is fine. I come for the weird movies; if what happens afterward is interesting, that's just gravy.
