Oh my god the brave little toaster has gone nuts! Anyway nice review Phelous. I hope that there's another Boogeyman film. Maybe then Pyramid Head could be the Boogeyman. No wait that would make only a little more sense than these movies.

According to IMDB, there a 2 more sequels; "Return of the Boogeyman" from 1997 and DTV, and Bloodsuckers from 2005.

The Bloodsuckers that Lommel had involvement with is the 1997 one not the 2005 one and it's really a sequel, it's alternate name is "Boogeyman Vampire Club 4". I can't find that around anyway.

After you are finished with these, you need to do Disney's "Under the Bed" (their boogeyman movie) as a palate cleanser. Not because you won't be able to rip on it, but it's in a completely different genre, so the ripping will be about different stuff.

Great review. And loved the random Brad, Benzaie, and Nash cameos and the ending.

Well, friend, sorry desappoint you, but your attempt to look smart just failed. The subtitles are entirely portuguese. There's no russian/spanish mix. And nobody says "É isso que você tem." Stop use Google Translator and go learn a foreign language.

I know this is late to ask and off-topic, but am I the only person on this site who REALLY hates SadPanda's singing? I mean no personal offense to him as he seems like a nice guy, but I always skip past any credits that feature his music. The lyrics are usually very awkward considering that English isn't his first language and so he's not entirely familiar with how it should sound and the singing itself, in complete honesty, gives me a headache whenever I hear it.

These kind of movies do have a chance to save their own continuity by cutting out the crap and flashing back to bits that are actually important and usable. Just like "PM: The Legacy", "Boogeyman II" failed...

Now that's out of my system, thoughts:
- Usually these movies you review kill me with their stupidity. This one looks lethally boring.
- Cameos, baby!
- People are people are... God, it's not this hard to write dialogue. If you mangle dialogue like this, you are a HACK!
- Don't you stick your tong at me!
- I seriously believe that the director of these movies took the phrase "the eyes are the mirrors to the soul," twisted it around... and... um... wait, I can make this work, really...
- You know, the only story I've ever read or seen with the title "The Boogeyman" that was any good was Stephen King's short story in "Graveyard Shift." It was short, sweet, and menacing. It actually got made into a short film. You can see it on YouTube, though I haven't watched it myself. Must not have been any good or it would have shown up on someone's radar by now.

Hahahaha wow... that was one of the funniest reviews of "Boogieman", you've done yet.
That director is seriously out of his mind... and the fact that original Boogeyman II is so hard to find is very odd... Also odd that his set-up was so similar to NC's.
There were a lot of clever jokes here, too many for me to go over here. I especially like when your sister said "boring and not funny at all"... sounds like the early comments you used to get back in the day, I remember back then I was one of the few that liked your work when you first started.
And, this is a small aside, but "Kyna" and "Phelan"? You Canadians sure have some weird names! :D
The "meta" joke still makes me laugh. Maybe people will stop using that now. I would have never known what it meant if you didn't bring it up, haha.
I liked the Little Toaster reference in the title card, and.. wow, I used to have a tooth brush just like that before. Heh.
