The Birdemic thing near the beginning was just awesome :D Very well edited -- much better than Birdemic itself.
This movie is possibly one of the biggest instances in which I was ABSOLUTELY ROOTING FOR THE BAD GUY. Seriously, who in the fuck actually wanted any of those opening people to live? Even their parents were probably just a little happy.

Wow I never thought for once in my life on God's green Earth, I have ever run into a horror movie about a .......Drive Thru Resturant. So I take it this was suppose to be the "Mac and Me" of scary movies ripping off IT to promote McDonalds or something because it sure looks like it!
Oh god this is our red flag people, that originality in Horror Movies is utterly dead. On a entirely didn't subject, Phelous makes for a delicious sandwich on his title!card *noms him*

06.08.2011 - 23:18 | e33lafSo, would you call "Gossip Girl" a step up from this movie for Leighton Meester or vice versa?
Also, Jan...oh, you have got to get yourself a better agent. You are so much better then things like this and The Hannah Montana Movie.

I love Leighton Meester (The main actress in this film). She's one of the reasons why i enjoy Gossip Girl.
And then, there was this movie. This movie has Leighton and Jan from The Office in it, and i was like "sure, why not?".
So i watched it, and it was the biggest piece of shit i've seen on TV.
Seriously, it combines Scream with Jersey Shore and bits and pieces of Hostel. It's the worst Cinemax horror film ever made.
I can't believe this crap got greenlighted. "Hey, why not make a slasher flick based on a Drive Through Fast food Joint?"
Seriously, Fuck this Movie.
Nice Review.
PS: The fat policeman looked familiar. Anyone recognize him from somewhere?

...with this "Horny the Clown", that is! Or rather to launch a POWER missile where the sun don't shine!
What? Like I'm the only one who didn't make a Twisted Metal connection?

You want a scary movie revolving around fast food? Try "Supersize Me."
Thoughts:
- Clearly this wasn't meant to be a serious movie. But then it fails to be funny. Do movie studios think that if something isn't done seriously then it's automatically amusing? This is not true - the word must be spread.
- Ouija boards, also known as magic plot point boards, should come with stronger warning labels.
- Well, we've had killer mascots, killer Nazi zombies, killer birds, killer Santa Claus, killer electric currents, killer Internets, killer killers, acting-career-killing killers, Fourth-Wall killers, and people with their mouths surgically attached to other people's rectums.
Don't you think it's time for some insects?
Good review.

06.09.2011 - 01:10 | Nick4xGotta disagree with you on this one, Phelous. If you watch this movie alone, yeah, it'll be the worst thing ever, but if you have a friend watching it with you, it becomes highly entertaining just because of how bad it is.
Yes, it sucks and it's not funny, but the kills are fun and making fun of bad horror movies is a great way to pass time.
Good review, though.

Another movie with stupid high school bitches and tools? How... erm... delightful...
At least most of them die, I'll give the movie that (getting rid of the most annoying characters). I REALLY wish the main girl had been killed off though. What an annoying bitch.
Stupid teenagers aside, is it strange that I actually LIKED the clown mask? As far as scary clowns go I thought it was decently "scary" rather than a "creepy".

It's like they wanted to try and make a B-Movie that was so ridiculous but they took it too far. Sort of like one of those friends that you make the gay jokes with then he winds up wanting to experiment with you on a camping trip or something...
Oddly I picked this movie up a couple weeks ago, you get it in a random four-pack too, Phelous?

06.09.2011 - 09:50 | darkpatriot85I think I got the real inspiration for this. The writers got some weed, ate some McDonalds, watched A Nightmare On Elm Street and then played some Twisted Metal and said "Fuck that Sweet Tooth guy is scary, let's make a movie about it".

hey phelous - first of all: nice review. you were kinda raging this time which was a bit distracting but i guess its your new style.
but i noticed your off-voice clipped a lot. im not sure how often this happened before but you could either record the voice overs in the same way you film your "on-screen"-footage which would match the two sounds or if you are using a second microphone lower the gain (digital) or the imput volume by expanding the range to the mic or by pulling down the volume bar (if you'r recording with a mixer).
hope that didnt sound too pretentious - im still struggling a bit with written english. everything else was quite good (as always ;)) keep up the good work!

06.09.2011 - 10:50 | Tabby5I watched this movie once, didn't leave much of an impact
9:33- I wonder if the film is telling us that Bush Jr. is the killer.
11:52- O_O Wow. …I never expect the movie to respond to my little joke that I partly made up.
17:32- I was also thinking Freddy Krugger, because it’s very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very obvious as hell.
Like “Skyline,” “Drive Thru” is one of those films that make you shout “BULL $H!T!” at the screen.
19:32- Nice recommendation, Phelous. I’ll do just that, except my home town hasn’t had a McDonalds in years.
