Aw, I was gonna say "FIRST!" seriously this time. We gotta break in the new guy! It's been quite some time since we've had a non-TGWTG member on the show. If we could handle the Cameo-verload of the last few months, we can handle the CHAPOS of having a new host, right? I'm still expecting this to be an April Fools joke myself.
Oh, I should probably comment on the movie...uh.............
Ok, so now it's Coat Hangers > NES Zapper > Snow > Camera > Reality Altering Remote (it's placed this low just for being in this movie for no raisin) > Shotgun > Lock You Inside Door (because LYIDs are SERIOUS BUSINESS and must ALWAYS be respected) .....this will get confusing soon.
I never would've expected Funny Games to be one of those "If you didn't get it, you're just dumb" movies. I still wanna delete all data of Funny Games from my memory card regardless (...That's the only game pun joke thing I got). I didn't think much of it back then and I don't have much of an opinion on it now.

Speaking of which, What Funnny Games was basically is a "deconstruction", aka a recreational critique of a genre through film. Think of Evangelion or Madoka Magica which are known to be deconstructions of popular animes, or JCVD which is a deconstruction of Van Damme/Seagal films.
However, Funny Games did not work well as a Deconstruction film. For a deconstruction, you must be subtle with it, slowly building up to the horror of it. However, most of Funny Games was IN YOUR FACE! With the Metal music opening and the 4th wall, it kinda shoves its message down people's throat, and thus it kinda ruins the deconstruction purpose of it.
Still, congratulations on being regenerated Phelous. Can't wait to see the new you!

Huh so is Phelous, Joel Robinson or David Tennant? I guess he's Joel now, and this new guy is going to be like Mike. Overall, I welcome New Phelous! Old Phelous deserves a well earned break from his frenzied schedule. I mean, Old Phelous has given us so much joy every single week, and suffers so dearly for our general amusement. Now through this transformation, Old Phelous can finally rest and maybe watch some good movies for a change. (Hopefully, you have become a Doctor Insano, and are now your own entity)
God bless you Old Phelous, you shall always be remembered! New Phelous (Thomas), while you have a Film Brain type body, you still embody the greatness of the exalted Phelous title (Please be like Matt Smith, and don't let us down)! :D
I wonder how Sad Panda feels about this? Also, will New Phelous be making an appearance in the third anniversary special coming up in April or May?

4:12- He just said "smelly man."
I also find the "lock you inside" doors stupid. Also, they sound like they belong in prisons.

Sorry about that, I wasn't even really nitpicking, it's just that I feel inadequate because of my door at home right now :(

First off the opening and the regeneration effect were amazing!
Second, if this is real then I'm more than willing to see what Tomas will do as New Phelous. If this is a joke for April Fools, then you are evil Phelous. Either way, can't wait till next week to see what happens next.

This is, by the way, the reason I hate April Fools. The whole day is spent trying to determine what's real and what's a joke and the following week is learning what was real.

But if this is the way things must be, then thanks for all the gruesome deaths, Old Phelous. Your sarcasm and wit will be missed.
New Phelous: I want a review involving insects, preferably bees. I never got that from Old Phelous.
One final Thoughts:
- A movie with a point to make... can still be a bad movie. Funny Games didn't just break the fourth wall, it used a hefty dose of C4 to atomize it.
