True story: green shirts give +2 to savings throws vs Chainsaws. It's as good an explanation as any. So if you ever get attacked by a chainsaw, you better hope you have a green shirt on. But yeah Harry needs some lessons on chainsaws from Ash, I don't think you're supposed to mount the chainsaw with your crotch but I could be wrong.
Also I don't think health drinks from the other world would be so bad, they just have a souls of the damned aftertaste. With a hint of cinnamon. And don't mind the health drink on the dead body, it's body temperature!
Phelous, would you say the nurses in part 8, 5:05~ were trying to make you a Harry sandwich?

Your let's plays of SH1 are SO much better than most of the ones I've seen. Also it helps that you actually know more about the games than a lot of people. You're hilarious!

Phelous, I think I'm a lot like you when it comes to playing this game. A lot of your commentary reminds me of something I would say to myself or friends if I'm playing with them (which I wouldn't usually play it alone >same EXACT feeling. I always think with jammed doors I can rejoice in NEVER having to go in, but now I know that the otherworld brings different possibilities.
love this commentary.. I kinda want to watch to the end now, but I haven't seen the ending since I was like 13 so I kinda want to play it myself again first.. either way I will watch it all sometime and loving what you've done with it.

Something interesting about the hospital Otherworld transition, in Japanese 4 is considered an unlucky number (in the same vein as 13 in English) because its old pronunciation "shi" sounds just like a word for death.
I don't know if it ever shows up in Silent hill but IIRC 44 is considered even worse.
