If my comment wouldn't have been first, no one would have cared.
Plus if they didn't care about my avatar, they would have done nothing, instead of thumbing me down.

I'm never gonna understand other people...

The first comment is the one that everyone sees, therefore it will get the most thumbs up/thumbs down. In addition to which, a lot of folks will rate reflexively without reading the post thoroughly.
Having read your comment thoroughly myself I can see it was perfectly innocuous and even related to the video, but even I will admit that my very, very, [i]very [/i]first impression of your initial comment was that it was going to be something purely self involved. Not really your fault, it's just the way the first sentence scanned.
Try not to take it too personally.

Actually, it's called constructive criticism; we show you we don't care by thumbing your comment down. That's the only way we can. If we could remove the comment, we would.
the only thing your comment had to do with the actual content of the video WITHOUT drawing unwanted attention to yourself is when you complain about how you're gonna be remembering Harry singing to himself when he walks around.

We thumbed you down because most people genuinely don't care at all about what your avatar says and posting a comment that's completely irrelevant to the video without provocation is kinda ignorant of general posting etiquette (especially in the first few comments). Even thought you eventually got to the video, the fact that you prioritized your avatar above what you had to say about it is basically the same as not talking about the video at all. I'm not saying you're a horrible person or anything, I'm just telling you why people thumbed you down. Don't worry though, your not the first one to get a crapload of thumb downs

I've never liked this thumbs up thumbs down system, it lets people bash you anonymously, it almost feels like harassment.
Either way, I'm never gonna post another comment first ever again, people care way too much about nothing if it's the first comment they see. Just look at other first comments for other videos, they can be right on topic, and boom, 20 thumbs down for no reason. Linkara's latest video for example.
There was nothing wrong with my comment, it was on topic. If it had been on the 6th page of comments, no one would have cared at all.
Hell, I'd rather the mods just delete this whole thing.
Gonna take one of my anti anxiety pills and try never to think about this again.

Next Fear is sort of like a New Game Plus. You play the game again normally, except that it's then possible to unlock the joke ending, as well as acquire a new weapon or two.

Sadly i could never play any of the Silent Hill games, I dont know why, but each of them gave me motion sickness and they were the only games on the PS1 and 2 that did that :(

I just got this game again last month, and I absolutely suck at it...I died trying to kill dogs with Harry's shitty aiming rather than running around them. Now my PS3 is being sent in for repair I can watch you play it and get some tips on how to suck FAR less. Good stuff, can't wait for the next ones.

You know I kinda don't like Let's Plays where the guy just narrates on what there going to do and randomly screams when something comes from nowhere, don't get me wrong I likes this but can't you focus on more on the humor and jokes? You know, make it entertaining to watch? Like Spoony's lets plays, The Phantasmagoria 2 lets play on his site is in my opinion Spoony at his finest.
And I know you did tell good ones like going back to the alley where you saw a mutilated corpse hanging from the fence seems like a bad idea or something. And oh yeah make sure you use the "I know something... But I'm not telling it!" at some point. This is already funny to watch, but... Can yous make it EVEN funnier?

It's going to be entertaining to watch someone else do an LP of this game. I've done LP's of 1-4, Dena's doing Shattered Memories, and you're doing the first game: it's a Silent-Hill-a-thon in here!

Loving the Let's Play but could you please stop the zoom in/out [i]every single time[/i] you do a cut? Maybe it's just me but after 10 times it really started to annoy me haha.

10.06.2010 - 16:45 | PhelousAhh it's just the transition I settled on for it. it's quick so I don't see why it'd be that annoying. I think a jump cut would have been worse. But regardless there won't be as many spots to cut in later parts.

I find it hilarious that the policewoman is willing to just give you her gun like that, presumably before she even has any idea there are monsters and stuff in the town. XD

Kinda surprised you didn't go into the school bus right outside the school, I actually didn't know you could enter it until I had beaten the game around five times, haha.
Now every time I play this game, I'm gonna think about Harry saying do dao do da when he's walking around.
