Geez, if Phelous reviewed that one too, it would make a grand total of seven Pulse movies. Seven of them. o_O
I'm really not sure how Phelous keeps his sanity through all this. I'm pretty sure I'd be crazy by the fourth one. Still, this was, of course, a funny review. I always love when you say someone was, "infected with the T-virus!" dun-dun-dun =D
Also, the cameo by Film Brain was pretty cool. It's hard to believe the movie was meant to be a pilot because it really didn't have good setup at all, in my opinion.

This movie is stupid, look at the doctor: "I cut my hand, oh well, I dont check it or so, ab band-aid is enough....oh no, it's mutating! Who would have guessed!"
And the other characters are boring and nonsensical.
Great review and the end was funny as hell =D

as filmbrain said it was a pilot for a TV series it was one several that got pitched by the BBC this year so if it does get commissioned the show will most likely be different and have a better cast (in theory.) also you didn't really mention Hannah's mother dying of cancer which was the main reason she freaked out after seeing her die on the operating table. not that this makes the movie any better it still looked rather boring no-one had much of a brain. and I agree what surgeon would cut their own hand with a scalpel the amount concern the other surgeons had was just plain stupid

Pulse was pretty stupid,but it was quite entertaining. At the time it was up against "Being Human" which is an infinately superior fantasy about a werewolf, vampire (not the sparkly kind) and ghost sharing a house as well as Doctor Who, so it never had a chance really on the BBC.
Sometimes rubbish pilots turn into decent programmes - I wonder where the writers would have gone with the concept it it had been picked up..

So we've got the twat from the History Boys, a Michelle Ryan lookalike,the bloke from Coupling and the guy from Torchwood Children of Earth ( i think). And rape. And call it Pulse.
And if this was supposed to be a BBC Pilot, why won't they just greenlight it? I mean, seeing a mix of Afterlife and Holby City is pretty much what the BBC auto-greenlights. After all, they greenlighted some crap for BBC3. I guess the head of BBC programming just want to torture horror reviewers.
And i think Mike J would make a more appropriate cameo instead of Film Brai....i mean Film British. Seriously Phelous, do Mike J a favour and get him to cameo in your next review (?s?nd ?o)
