Nice! Wasn't even up on the sidebar yet. :lol: Nice review though, this movie was notably better than Cabin Fever one (not to say it was good), but the ending was completely butchered beyond repair. I heard the director complete disowned it because of the executive meddling on the ending too.

He's actually played Gollum in a couple of flash videos called "Lord of the Apartment".

As for the review, this was pretty fun to watch. I knew as soon as I heard Brahms Hungarian Dance No. 5, that their was going to be a super gore scene waiting to happen. And the laugh made it all the more sinister.

Wow, just wow. They don't show the gore until the last 20 minutes even though that's why people went to see this movie? And they gave Shawn from Boy Meets World top billing even though he was bearly in this movie? Agien, wow, just wow.

Phelous! Why do you keep torchering us with these dismembering and cauterizing scenes? You even used the same music!

Wait, if Phelous now doesn't exist, does that mean the reviewd and the impact they had on us no longer exists as well?

You know what the funny thing is, the director of this film also did House of the Devil, which was pretty awesome, it's kind of funny how talented people can waste their time on garbage like this.

I saw the 1st and it nearly made my puke, but I get the feeling if I did see the 2nd one, I would have puked twice through the whole movie. I'm not oppose to gore being in a movie, but there is such a thing as too much.

I watched this movie last night and I completely agree with it having absolutely having no right or point to exist. It's a cash-grab in the worst way. It should be noted, most interestingly enough; the director Ti West has since gone on to disown the film. I got the feeling watching the movie that things had been toyed with. There are a lot of dead ends and the last 30 minutes are beyond choppy. Plus, if you've seen Ti West's film The House of the Devil, you'd realise Cabin Fever 2 feels like it was directed by someone entirely different than West. I'm not saying House of the Devil was good, it wasn't, but it is MILES better than Cabin Fever 2.

i kinda feel you missed a nice opportunity with the guy talking about "Bride of the Cannibals 2" the movie is obviously committing a huge no-no by referencing a better movie ;)

I too am in shock that this movie was ever made. Hated the first one However i was the only one in the theater that was laughing. Just another forgettable sequel to a forgettable movie in the firstplace. Awesome review as always.

You're right Phelous, it has no right to exist and may those responsible be disowned from the human race. Clearly, they have none of the prerequisits of being considered Human. That "birthing" scene, just, could not have been made by a humanbeing.

What I find hilarious about the whole mess is that Party Cop is the one most sensible character of this whole shitty film. Not that he was a *good* character, just at least you didn't want to nuke the TV because him solely this time. Somewhat.

Even the two heroes really do nothing but flee and apparently are dead meat anyway (with one dying shortly after that whole dismemberment scene? Uh...huh?)

It's said in an Interview that the Director Ty West wants nothing to do with this sequel because the Producers forced him to end Cabin Fever 2 without any Resolution with it's characters so the animated sequence at the end supposedly was kinda forced in there.

While it's obvious you really do hate this movie, how do you feel about Brad Jones' review of it (and mainly his arguments on how it was much better than the original for not having anything to do with Eli Roth)? Me? I don't think I'll be seeing this one anytime soon, but for as flawed as it looks, it still seems at least partially less organ-boilingly obnoxious as the original Cabin Fever (which I have seen, unfortunately).

I certainly agree that no Eli Roth is a very good thing but to me anyway CF2 made up for that by being bad in other ways. Unfocused plot with a bunch of little off shoots that end up going no where and really boring characters. I agree though that Party Cop was way better written in this one and came off as the hero sense, as sad as it is, he was the most interesting character in the whole thing. But even he seemed to not know what he was doing for a long while, the movie made it seem like he was going to go out and actually do something about the random kill you disease but then all he's trying to do is escape town and apparently completely forgot why when he lets the blood soaked Cassie in the vehicle with him at the end.
So I agree with some of Brad's points why this one works over the original but to me it was just a different kind of mess.

This movies was totally God-Awful. I'm glad I only downloaded it, if I had paid even a single cent for it I would have gone insane.

Great Review as always! I really look forward to ever Phelous video, you've become one of my favorites. Hehe, although I feel a little responsible for you suffering through Cabin Fever 2... I commented about it. Even if, of course, you knew about it already I'd feel terrible if my comment caused you to watch this.
