Hey Paw. Awesome video.I'm both a guitarist of five years and a repair tech, so I've worked on my fair share of PRS'. I am honestly not a huge fan of them, save for the fact that they are sooo easy to work on. I have played on some that are worth several thousand dollars and something about them seems very basic to me. I cant deny they are well made and great in their own right, but once I learned about this company called Agile, I couldn't really look at PRS in the shining light that many do. Agile puts out PRS style guitars that play and sound AMAZING for very cheap. Even so, this video was really awesome for me and I've been waiting to see some instrument based videos from you. I saw you had a blue semi-hollow body and I was pretty interested in your views on guitars, guitar playing, and just instrument in general. Anyway, keep up the good work so us music nerds have something to look forward to.

I agree with you about both the PRS, and the Agile guitars. Agile are the best bang for the buck. Also, have you heard of a brand of guitars called Jay Turser, and if so, what are your opinions on them?

Those are some pretty sweet guitars. I'm not too familiar with PRS, but they seem to be pretty good. I was almost drooling when I saw some of those awesome designs, but as we all know, guitars are not ment to be judged by their looks. Anyways, good & informative video. :)

Very informative and a skillfully made video. The editing was up to proper documentary standards. Well done.

Man, that "badass" bass was... well, y'know.

Sweet video, im a guitarist of 9 years and have been building guitar pedals for 2-3 years or so. My main guitar is a parker fly, which uses lighter/fragile woods like basswood and poplar which get wrapped in carbon fiber. This makes the guitars very resonant and very light(4.5lbs total.)
Do you play guitar Paw? Message me if you need custom guitar pedals =D

Sweet, I love guitars, I'm fucking jealous. I've noticed that quite a few guitarists have been switching to PRS signatures, so I've been kinda curious about them. Lol at the B(ad)ass.

Sadly I am a bongo player and not a guitarist. I have never done well with stringed instruments but I respect the legacy of the guitar gods like Jimmy Paige and even the guys from Queens of the Stone Age, but I'm not that experienced in terms of playing music, Paw. I mainly just listen to it while tapping on my bongos with the drum beats.

Paw, it may amuse you to know that I have a theory that guitar players possess inherent coolness over people who play other instruments like the ukulele or the Japanese shamisen, but it depends which circle your band is in. I'm also a fan of the harmonica but I only have an A tuned one which is very strange. XD

I had been playing a 1976 blond wood Stratocaster ever since I picked it up for $250 in 1978. I was in a Guitar Center a few years ago and picked up a Korean made PRS SE. It was a double cut model with a beautiful red sunburst quilted finish. I picked it up and it played itself. I had never experienced such action and I was converted immediately.

Even tho I have gone by StratRat for many years, I have not picked up my Strat since I picked up that PRS. PRS-Rat just doesn't work....

All you need to see to know that modern PRS guitars are junk is the neck joint. Fail. Complete fail.

Had no idea PRS were based in Maryland, then again I don't follow them nor plan to (more of a Ibanez/ESP/Jackson guy myself). That said, they do have some beautiful guitars, especially some of their electrics. I love the whole colored wood look they have.

Badass bass bridges are awesome! I have a Badass II on my Geddy Lee jazz, it's amazing.

Great video Paw! Your videos are always entertaining and filled with substance!

Great video. I once went to a NAMM convention in Nashville Tennessee which is the place to be if you play any type of instrument. I don't remember much about PRS but I have always regarded them highly due to Santana playing them; I had no idea that the Nuge played them as well. I always thought that he was a Gibson Byrdland guy.

Yeah, PRS guitars are awesome. I just find it a shame they don't have a seven-string model.

Wow paw, awesome video. As a drummer though, i have to wonder how out of place that drummer had to be at a guitar festival lol.
"hey, here's our newest line of guitars with a maple neck and solid body!" "cool. uh, know where i can get a replacement head for my bass drum around here?"

That was an incredibly well made video. If I didn't know differently, I'd think it was an official PRS press video.

I don't know too much about guitars, but it seems like it was a fun event.
