When this is all over, I wouldn;t mind a short commentary...Or a live action thing like you did with King's Quest.
The robot is the white knight, the Grabbypaws is probably a frumious Bandersnatch.
That dancing fuzzball does fit the description of a Borogrove, but also resembles 2 out of 3 Jubjub Bird illustrations.:
"Borogrove: An extinct kind of parrot. They had no wings, beaks turned up, and made their nests under sundials; lived on veal. A thin shabby-looking bird with its feathers sticking out all round — something like a live mop."
But I'm totally lost on the Barrister & the giant talking busic box. I think I need to reread AthLG.
That's not a face in the belfry; it's 4 bats.

08.24.2010 - 00:45 | EternalNightmareThat was clearly a bat in the belfry, not a face. Maybe it has something to do with the cricket bat. :dizzy:

08.24.2010 - 15:21 | yourworstnightmareThis is just one of these games where nothing makes sense. You're truly throught the Looking Glass. Awesome!!!
-
08.24.2010 - 16:14 | TommyTreeI feel like I've watched hours of gameplay. How much has there actually been with the backtrackomatic playing at normal speed and whatever has been cut out? It has to be at least five hours so far. No wonder it's driving you insane!

The most relevent words I can make from the blocks is 'Odd song'. Not sure if that helps.[/quote]
I don't know if this has been mentioned in the comments to the previous videos, but the blocks spell "Dodgson" - the last name of Lewis Carroll's real name, Charles Lutwidge Dodgson.

I think the reason I like this game so much is because in a time of games like Load Runner and Zork, this game came out as really a cut above the rest, and despite some Text glitches it really holds up pretty well. I always give credit where its due and in this game it really was, simply for its depth and length for its time.
M.J.'s Tip: If I recall correctly, the mushrooms regrow after a time. I think. It's been a VERY long time since I've played, and it may have been the Renew button. (I did a lot of cheating in my youth)

I haven't gotten the chance to read all the comments on all the Parts, but I have a few thoughts. But first I'd like to say I'm enjoying watching you tackling this challenge. I got the chance to watch all the Parts over again, and I just have a few thoughts.
Back in Part 14 around 6:45 with the Pink Mountain Queen(?) she mentioned something about the Gnat saying something extra if you use the Seashell. The only "Gnat" looking thing that you could talk to that I remember was the one in the train with the Unicorn. Perhaps it's just a small hint about something that may not even be important anymore. But I don't even know if it'll work.
Another thing is, thus far you've been attacked by The Notorious Nimble "Grabby" Paws 3 times I believe. First time was when didn't know who he was, Second by the Dinosaur Topiary, and Third by the double-Grabbing-danger area right outside the Pink Mountain Queen. Yet, there was only 2 things in the Bank. ...Perhaps they took an elixir or cake the first time? If so, be careful =O
Hopefully we won't have have to use the Renew option. Otherwise, that just might be the longest Skip-o-Matic ever. @_@
P.S.
Btw, if it hasn't been said already, the Bellman will be there between 4 and 6

Oh wow, no one else brought this up yet? The song about the sheep - in the book Through the Looking Glass there is a short section where Alice in a store talking to a sheep, when for no particular reason it becomes a boat going down a river. I believe the sheep tries to sell her an egg, but I'm a little fuzzy on that part. Anyway - I didn't make the connection until you tried the song since that thing did not look like a sheep to me.
