My...gosh! I haven't seen this game since I was in my first year of Junior High! We're talking...*Counts on his fingers*...At least 20 years ago!
I recall having no clue how to get through it...I would find the parasol, drop down into a lot of pits, and get hopelessly lost. It was always an experience, because I never knew who or what I would run into.

07.05.2010 - 23:26 | Midnight VoyagerFor the love of all that is holy, find a guide. The game has... you might have issues without one, yes, there's time-related things and... yeah. I fear for you greatly. Though my memory may be iffy.
Also, that's a walrus, I think. (And that's the Dormouse)

Awesome! I love your solo Let's Plays! This game actually looks fairly good, considering the platform. Can't wait to see you play it all the way through!

Oh, I haven't seen this old game in a dog's age.
The 1984 Mac 128k had a very large library of games. I USED to think it was the first until I looked up the release dates & saw that the Commadore 64 came out 2 years prior AND had color.
GameStop: The nerds who hung out there all day on the weekends were the Babbage Patch Kids.
The graphics look fairly awesome for an 80s game, though Alice bears a strong resemblance to a Cockatoo. [img]http:// i238.photobucket.com/ albums/ff232/LikaLaruku/ Random/ AlicetheCockatoo.png[/ img]
Take, ask, coax, tease, eat me, drink me, get ye flask.
Reverend Dodson was supposed to be the for-real guy Carroll based the Hatter on.

I can totally second that. KQ5 was one of the first LPs I ever watched and since then I always wanted to do one on my favourite KQ game. It would be in German, though, since I don't think I could make a funny, spontaneous commentary in English without fetching for words from time to time.
And if you thought King Swayze had a bad voice actor, you haven't heard the German cast of Sierra...

YAY, I love alice in wonderland in all its inceptions.
I believe Lewis Carroll is in this to reference the origins of the Alice story which was Lewis Carroll telling stories to the girls in the river Thames. Theres a few adaptations that start the story off with this reference (I believe the 1970s movie adaptation starts this way and maybe even the one from the 50s). Although why it goes so far as to have his study, I do not know. I've never seen the reference carried that far so thats kinda weird.
I am definitely watching every episode of this; my favorite literature is Alice in all its adaptations and I have not seen this one. First game adaptation I saw as a kid was a PC text adventure game which I never could beat (it was really hard).
This game seems weird and random, looking forward to seeing if/how you beat it B)

Awesome to see another Let's Play from you Paw. I enjoyed watching you play King's Quest and, from what I've seen here, I'm going to enjoy watching you play through this as well.
For a Commadore 64 game, this looks pretty cool, if a bit confusing. It's nice to get back to your roots nonetheless.
From some of the comments here, it seems as though this game can cause some problems with that timer. I wish you the best of luck Paw. :)

You may need it.
